The Doctor Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 It's a load of toss, particularly the tinfoil lovers who bang on about how fluoride in the water supply is keeping us docile and all that shit. News flash - fluoride occurs naturally in water. Bar drinking nothing but deionised water you're going to be drinking fluoride.

MooseBreath Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Watched it until the bit where he said he had found a "code" which unlocks a clean renewable energy source. Ooooook bro
The Doctor Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 Watched it until the bit where he said he had found a "code" which unlocks a clean renewable energy source. Ooooook bro What? He's got to be taking the piss, he can't seriously believe that can he?

Blimey you watched that quick, you managed to fit a 2 hour film into 10 minutes, maybe there are some secrets of the universe people aren't telling us.
Webbo Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 I've seen 30 mins so far. It's quite interesting, not that I believe a word of it, but interesting.
Kyuubi Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 The guy in the video is talking to me as if I were a 12 year old retard

News flash - fluoride occurs naturally in water. Bar drinking nothing but deionised water you're going to be drinking fluoride. Pretty ignorant. You'll find actually those conspiracy theorists are not talking about naturally occuring fluoride in water, but the non-natural addition of it as they say it is a different thing. Not saying I agree with them but maybe you should know the difference.

Not saying I agree with them but maybe you should know the difference. I'm aware of the difference - chemically: jack shit. Fluoride is a fluorine anion, there's no chemical difference between the natural occurring component and the additive. Nor is it added in sufficient concentrations to be dangerous.

Tell that to the conspirators That being said, just because it is found naturally doesn't mean it is healthy. At least in this country, most of the population doesn't get artificially fluoridated water I think

Jon the Hat Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 I think the phrase you are looking for is ONLY FOR THE GULLIBLE.
Captain... Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 No, but that fluoride deficiency is linked to osteoporosis means it is healthy. Even Arsenic is healthy in moderation, but over consumption of fluoride will kill you, not saying that that is what is happening, but saying that it has health benefits is irrelevant.

Arsenic is not healthy in moderation - that's chronic poisoning and causes: pigmentation of skin, skin diseases and cancer of skin, kidneys and bladder. It has no health benefits, unlike fluoride. Yes in high amounts it's toxic, but everything is, even water is toxic in high amounts.

It has no health benefits, unlike fluoride. Yes in high amounts it's toxic, but everything is, even water is toxic in high amounts. Medical useDuring the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, a number of arsenic compounds have been used as medicines, including arsphenamine (by Paul Ehrlich) and arsenic trioxide (by Thomas Fowler).[43] Arsphenamine as well as neosalvarsan was indicated for syphilis and trypanosomiasis, but has been superseded by modern antibiotics. Arsenic trioxide has been used in a variety of ways over the past 500 years, but most commonly in the treatment of cancer. The US Food and Drug Administration in 2000 approved this compound for the treatment of patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia that is resistant to ATRA.[44] It was also used as Fowler's solution in psoriasis.[45] Recently new research has been done in locating tumors using arsenic-74 (a positron emitter). The advantages of using this isotope instead of the previously used iodine-124 is that the signal in the PET scan is clearer as the body tends to transport iodine to the thyroid gland producing a lot of noise.[46] In subtoxic doses, soluble arsenic compounds act as stimulants, and were once popular in small doses as medicine by people in the mid-18th century. Despite its notoriety as a deadly poison, arsenic is an essential trace element for some animals, and maybe even for humans, although the necessary intake may be as low as 0.01 mg/day.Read more: http://www.lenntech.com/periodic/elements/as.htm#ixzz2OHZbK3cc
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 You do realise you're top quote proves him right, and your second is completley hypothetical with no basis. Dunno why you argue with people on subjects they are clearly a lot more clued up on than yourself.
