This Mornings scores

Trump 10-5 Dale

Ding 10-5 McManus

Good win for Trump, needed to find a bit of form after a sluggish season, breaks of 104, 73 and 64 this morning is decent going. Dale was on a 147 as well but broke down on 96, if Trump performs like he did this morning, he will be a massive danger.

Ding will be thankful that match is over, McManus fought hard and grafted away this morning, Ding managed to get over the line though thankfully enough. Ding v King next, a match Ding should win, if he does it could be Ding v Selby in the Quarters.

I am going to the first 2 sessions of the final but am desperate to get tickets for the last 2 sessions on the 6th May, anyone selling a pair by any chance?

That'll be quality! Well jealous

Can It be a Ronnie v Selby final or would they meet earlier than that?

Cost me a fortune, treat for my Dads 65th Birthday.

Not sure of draw permitations but hoping for that final, although Selby/Trump or Selby/Robertson would be good also, I regret not buying tickets for all 4 sessions now!

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost you?

Yeah any of those finals would be good

I'm sure Selby and Ronnie are at complete opposite ends of the draw.

It could be a Selby v Ronnie final.

Anyway this afternoon's scores.

Robertson 5-4 Milkins

Stevens 7-10 Fu

Robertson v Milkins was high quality, but there were a few scrappy frames that went on for a while, Robertson and Milkins are good free flowing players though, and are fast when in the balls. Robertson hit the highest break of the tournament so far, by making a 143. Evenly poised going into tomorrow afternoon, where I'll be making my second trip of the tournament.

Stevens and Fu was the most intriguing scrap I have ever watched, never the best quality but so much drama it was unreal. Stevens from 9-4 down got it back to 9-7, the final frame of the session could of easily gone to Stevens, if so they would of been pulled off, but Fu scrapped over the line, he potted an awesome pink to get on the black to win the match, cracking shot.

Bring on tonight, Selby to a finish :D

Was there a re rack in the Selby match? Turned over after a few balls have been potted then went back to it and the scores where 0-0

Yes there was.

Selby not playing well at all though, last night he was below par.

Tonight's scores

Selby 10-4 Selt

Bingham 8-1 Baird

Selby didn't start tonight well either losing the first frame of the evening, but then found his gears and racked in breaks of 51, 55 and 91 to win the match. Selby needs to play better though, Hawkins is a tough nut to crack, and of course Hawkins beat Selby last year in the first round.

Thought Baird would do much better than this, but Bingham smashed him. Bingham is this years darkhorse in my opinion, it's about time he had a good run here and he could well do it, some close frames tonight, but Bingham looked comfortable throughout the first session.

I'm off for my second visit tomorrow, to see Robbo v Milkins, so glad it finished 5-4.

Massive shock. Robbo not at the races. Great news for Selby if he can get past Hawkins.

Looking forward to Kingfox's "expert" analysis later on.

Especially for my friend Bert :D;)

Just got back, I'm sure many believed Robertson would be a sure bet to win the title, pundits probably thought the same thing in all fairness.

So this afternoon's scores...

Murphy 6-2 Dott

Robertson 8-10 Milkins

Only the first session of Murphy & Dott's second round match, but Murphy has a very healthy lead in this one, two centuries for Murphy today as well as a break of 99, seemed in class form, and as I said if he picked his form up which looks like he has, then I believe he could well get to the final, O'Sullivan, Trump and Bingham will also be dangerous I think, but I will have to favour Murphy at the minute.

Well we have seen some shocks this week, but despite Milkins being ranked 19th a lot will be surprised with this result. Robertson was poor, one of his worst displays I have seen, considering he did well yesterday. A lot of frames were close and scrappy, but Milkins won them all which was the key factor, he was simply the better player today and deserved the win. Because of this result then, one of Poomjaeng, White, Milkins or Walden will definitely reach the Semi Finals...shock!!!

I'm just watching the match on Eurosport now, and I was on TV quite a few times :D

Second Round...

Ronnie O'Sullivan v Ali Carter

Stuart Bingham v Mark Davis

Shaun Murphy v Graeme Dott

Marco Fu v Judd Trump

Robert Milkins v Ricky Walden

Michael White v Dechawat Poomjaeng

Mark King v Ding Junhui

Barry Hawkins v Mark Selby

Top half is wide open, bottom half if Ding or Selby don't make the final I will be very surprised.
