isaidno Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Trump should give Ronnie a test in the semi's . That should be the final really .
kingfox Posted 1 May 2013 Author Posted 1 May 2013 Afternoon scores Murphy 12-13 Trump Walden 10-6 M.White My Word!!! What an epic at the Crucible this afternoon, what a match, that was just a stressful watch. Cracking Snooker from both today, with both players making heavy breaks, but it was the close frames what were so tense and so exciting. Was a battle all the way through, Trump managing to lead with Murphy hitting back straight away, highest breaks this afternoon were a 128, 70, 62 and 88 from Murphy, while Judd piled on breaks of 59, 77 and 90. The final four frames were absolute classics, two heavy breaks from both players, while the other two frames were so close and intense. The final frame was absolutely brilliant, whoever missed it try and watch it later, it's a long one but a very exciting one. WHAT A MATCH!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile not forgetting the other match, Michael White put up a great fight against Ricky Walden despite still being 10-6 down after the session. Walden got off to a great start by winning the first two frames, White won the third though with a break of 100, but Walden responded with a century of his own making a 104, White though hit back and hit back in style, by winning three frames in a row, making two half century breaks of 75 & 63, Walden stopped the rot though by winning the final frame with a break of 65. Entertaining session in all fairness, they come back and finish tonight. Only two more Semi Final spots up for grabs, who will join Judd and Barry?
purpleronnie Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Wanted trump to win especially as he was playing murphy who I'm no fan of especially after he snitched on a fellow player, and after he mentioned trump coming across as arrogant around the table...ahhh didums plus his constant moaning about O'Sullivan too.

We voted him as 'the player you can tell has been abused by his priest' in the pub one night. Vile bloke, never have been able to stand snitches anyway and he's one of teh worst.
Guest MattP Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Who did he snitch on? Maguire a few years ago, forgot his chalk and Murphy started badgering the ref to dock him a frame.
Guest shearfox Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Ronnie vs Trump exciting semi, I think Ronnie will be far too strong though he is just a better player in every department. Trump lacks in his safety play and that will be his downfall. Maguire a few years ago, forgot his chalk and Murphy started badgering the ref to dock him a frame. Yep, I hate him as well just does my head in with his comments on certain other players...
kingfox Posted 1 May 2013 Author Posted 1 May 2013 Tonight's Scores... O'Sullivan 13-4 Bingham Walden 13-6 M.White Easy as pie for O'Sullivan then, one frame needed, one frame got. Not the best of frames though by any means, miss shots by both but it was O'Sullivan who won it, to set up a mouth watering tie against Judd Trump in the Semi Finals. Meanwhile Walden needed three frames tonight, and like O'Sullivan he wasted no time in wrapping up his match either, by winning three frames in a row to win the match, and book a tie with Barry Hawkins in the Semi Finals. Walden won the first frame of the evening on the black, then a break of 50 helped him win the 2nd, while he finished the match off by making a break of 60. I will be making my final trip to the Crucible tomorrow, to watch the first semi final session of O'Sullivan v Trump. Also a couple of you mentioning about Murphy, this article should make you laugh http://www.people.co.uk/news/2009/05/03/snooker-hero-murphy-and-100-escort-93463-21328337/

Think Trump is more than capable of beating Ronnie on his day. In fact Trump is beating Ronnie in head to head battles. Of course Ronnie is strong favourite and looks absolutely flawless. If Judd can stick to his game and not get overawed by the occasion and the crowd this could go very close and should be an epic.
foxfanazer Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Ronnie looking superb once again. Judd's a mardy ****er
foxfanazer Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 What a shot by ronnie!! Smashes the pink in the black pocket, goes in and out of baulk and breaks up four reds on the black cushion

We have eyes, we have watched the matches in question, hence why we come here to comment on them.

To be fair I don't get to watch many of the games, they're fairly useful.Any comments on Ronnie's statement? Think it's a bit knob-ish myself.

Not everyone is able to watch due to work and stuff as The Only Way is Essex wannabe said.
Guest MattP Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 I like Shaun Murphy a bit more now. Can't imagine him at it though.

Think it's a bit knob-ish myself. you don't take these comments seriously, he always comes out with such comments. Maybe to take some pressure off, he seems focused and his comments before the tournament were very different. That is Ronnie for you...
kingfox Posted 2 May 2013 Author Posted 2 May 2013 Anyway I went Sheffield today, to see O'Sullivan v Trump. Great game, only way you will study Ronnie properly is if your actually there, some of his positional shots are mind blowing, didn't even clap some of them, I just shook my head thinking how the fook. Judd did so well to comeback though, 5-3 would of been alright, but 4-4 is just brilliant.
leicsmac Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Loving how the reds are placed in this frame Why a rerack wasn't agreed then I have no idea. Edit: About time!
leicsmac Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 Is this the most bizarre frame of snooker ever played out so far?
