Kitchandro Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 why is it wrong? do staff not deserve any sort of perk for working for the club?!? Do you walk into a shop in town and tell the staff they're not allowed staff discount? If your that mad turn up on wednesday and theres bound to be tickets that turn up as staff didnt want them. Im sure if you worked there you'd be more than happy to not get tickets just because fans said you couldnt have them. No they don't. You work and you get paid, that's the exchange. I'm sure they can give them other perks, why should fans suffer for employees? Discount is one thing, I can handle that, but other people don't miss out because of discounts. If I worked there I wouldn't expect priority, I'd still be a fan and what's right is right.
lavrentis Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 Do you feel sorry for people who work in a supermarket and have to work Bank Holidays, New Years Day, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Boxing day etc etc etc? Most probably get paid double/triple time anyway
jimmygee Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 Apparently ur mrs has been lettin him finish up her since late feb
MajorInTheKnow Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 Do you feel sorry for people who work in a supermarket and have to work Bank Holidays, New Years Day, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Boxing day etc etc etc? Fair point but why give them shit when they have no control over it.

By all means give them a 50% discount in the megastore. That doesnt affect me. But they simply should not be allowed to take tickets that by rights, belong to other people who have earnt their priority. Likewise with players families, make them P2 or P3. Then if they really want to go, they can queue like everyone else instead of just being given them and them selling them on for a ridiculous amount!

I expect perks from my workplace no matter where im working, stop being sore over it.
cjslcfc Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 I don't think they should get things which mean the paying customer misses out. That would never happen anywhere else. So, by all means get free stuff from the shop etc. But they can't have first option on tickets just because they work there! Just not right for the loyal fans who pay every week of every year
Larry_LCFC Posted 6 May 2013 Author Posted 6 May 2013 Easy saying that when you dont work there. Imagine being told you couldnt attend that away games you wanted to because you work on weekends and cant attend enough away games to get to p1 or 2. Find some common sense. what a stupid argument. That applies to thousands of people, including me.

Imagine being told you couldnt attend that away games you wanted to because you work on weekends and cant attend enough away games to get to p1 or 2. Find some common sense. WTF are you talking about? Do they not have the choice whether to work there or not? If they want Saturday's free they can get another job. If they can't tough shit, that's life. What about the people who physically did go to the away games? Should they miss out because they couldn't get a job at the ticket office or aren't one of the ****** serving me piss at half time? Easy to say when I don't work there? No, what's right is right, what the fvck does it matter if I work there or not? How on earth are you sympathising with them? Christ.
MajorInTheKnow Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 what a stupid argument. That applies to thousands of people, including me. Its pointless arguing you because you're obviously a moron. They CANT attend away games because they're working for Leicester City Football Club. Besides you've just admitted you're not even P2 so why the f**k are you even mad? You had no chance of getting a ticket
Kitchandro Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 What if I go to the burger place in town and I order a burger, but I'm told they are out of burgers because one of the waitresses forgot to have dinner before she left for work and just couldn't resist having a couple? Doesn't that sound a bit ridiculous?

Besides you've just admitted you're not even P2 so why the f**k are you even mad? You had no chance of getting a ticket Plenty of people can't attend games for a plethora of reasons. Why does them working for the club make them more deserving than people who actually have gone to away games? Are excuses more important than actually doing things now?

Maybe im sympathising because i woke up early queued up and got my away tickets on P2 rather than turning up at 1pm and expecting to get tickets? The tickets sold out in 9 hours, get over it and move on with your life?

Imagine being told you couldnt attend that away games you wanted to because you work on weekends and cant attend enough away games to get to p1 or 2. Find some common sense. I've seen one of them at several away games. Working at the ticket office doesn't stop them from attending.

Besides you've just admitted you're not even P2 so why the f**k are you even mad? You had no chance of getting a ticket I work on weekends so I cant attend many away games. I manage to get to most home games because I have an understanding boss. Im pissed off because Im P3 and this should have made it to P3 easily. Your argument is more floored than Carpets R Us.
Larry_LCFC Posted 6 May 2013 Author Posted 6 May 2013 I've seen one of them at several away games. Working at the ticket office doesn't stop them from attending. Yeah cause they get first dibs on the tickets

Doesn't that sound a bit ridiculous? Yes but your using a ridiculous example. What do you expect staff to do, stop serving people so they can queue up for a ticket? Just accept that it is how all football clubs will work it and move on.
jimmygee Posted 6 May 2013 Posted 6 May 2013 Theres more than 2200 p1 and p2 STH so they shouldnt have made p3. Loyal supporters get the best privilages..... as they should. Gotta catch some zzzzz anyway got some tickets to flog in the mornin

If they are so bothered about attending away games, find a job that doesnt involve saturdays and dont work in the ticket office maybe? They arent forced to work there you know!
