LanguedocFox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I was going to pose this question before the play-offs, along the lines of "If we lose to Watford, would that kill the feeling of joy we had last Saturday afternoon when Knockaert scored the winner?" I decided not to bother, because I thought it might be tempting fate. But now it's happened, and after Knocky's free kick in the first leg, and dive/penalty in the second, has the euphoria evaporated? Speaking for myself, the answer is a resounding "no". The memory of last Saturday will live with me to my dying day, and even the disappointment of the last minute in today's game cannot take that away from me. Anyone else feel the same?
Vardinhio Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Well it was a good effort to get to where we got and I think probably we just ran out of steam.
foxfanazer Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Not for me, nothing is going to take that day away from me!
Kitchandro Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 It does somewhat yes. Last Saturday was the kind of moment you want to look back on and remember with pleasure until your dying day. Now, I don't think I'll want to reminisce about it ever again. It would just remind me of this. It's ruined the memory of it, definitely.
AKCJ Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Up there with Stoke away as the most depressing day supporting Leicester.
Happy Fox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Not for me because I was there!, beating those bastards and denying them the playoffs was wonderful irrespective of what happened in the playoffs. F**k off F****t and Dierby the East Midlands is Ours!
Fox92 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Not sure really. Not only did we get into the play offs with that goal, it also meant we won at the City Ground for the first time since the early 70's. It was a great day. Today is a bitter pill to swallow, but that's football I'm afraid. We did well to get into 6th when we probably didn't deserve it, but to lose like that was horrid.
