Also the savings on Abe earlier in season 2011-2012 and the reduction in loan players and think he hasn,t done such a bad job. Just needs to move on more of the expensive players with no futures here.

Some people on this forum and on phone ins never look at the bigger picture, I think a lot of our fans where blue tinted specs. Pearson has done a great job reducing our wage bill, bringing in money for players.

He was probably told to reduce the wage bill by the owners. He's hardly the George Osborne of the Championship is he?

George Osborne? bit random that. Reduced wages and brought in younger cheaper players.

You have missed out... Teixeira, Ball and Berner as leavers since he returned.

Shifting Gallagher, Wellens, Danns, Beckford, perhaps Konch and St Ledger might prove a bit more difficult.

FFP is being challenged in the European high court by a football agent that states the fair play rules break league laws in the major European leagues and also locks in rich clubs and stops smaller clubs ever being an attractive proposition to invest in, as they can't operate at a loss ever. The agent is using the same lawyer that won the Bosman case.

It'll be interesting if this holds up the implication of the laws into the game.

There seems to many who want to oppose these laws and agents are the main ones.

I've tried putting these points (wages reduced, looking to the future in a financially positive way) towards all the anti-Pearson brigade. Few, if any, barely see the point in raising this argument and fail to see that this is another side to Pearson staying whilst rebuilding the squad as well as progressing us as a club. More fool them.

It would be irrelevant had we achieved promotion.

But well done NP on making failure more palatable.

Bit like missing out on Elle Macpherson and pulling a 20 stone ginger minger and her popping on Elle's bra to make up for it.
