ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 If we lose him on a free, we haven't really lost any money Some of his saves helped us into 6th last season, and the extra revenue from this paid his transfer fee I'd keep him for another year, regardless if he signs a new contract. If we don't go up next year, I'd wish him all the best for the future and he will forever be one of my favourite players in the game, even if he isn't with us
Jace Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Unless i've read it wrong, why do we have a training camp in Austria if money is so tight? Do we have a training camp in Austria? Also if we did isn't expenditure into training and academy facilities an allowable expense for FFP purposes anyway?
Vale Blue Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Do we have a training camp in Austria? Also if we did isn't expenditure into training and academy facilities an allowable expense for FFP purposes anyway? Yes it is an allowable expense.
William Boast Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Remove the space between 'be' and 'at' and the riddle is soon solved and the true message reveals itself. Kasper loves puzzles. In short, he is as good as gone and can't wait to face up against us for a quiet afternoon. Further bad news, with Fergie gone, NFP has nowhere to turn for a replacement. Sucks to be us.
sphericalfox Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 If we are training in Austria, it might explain the game against the Austrian side SV Ried listed online, maybe we are playing their reserve side? Either that or it's a mistake. EDIT: Stringer says they aren't over in training yet, and come back next week, so ignore my rambles above.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 iirc he said something very similar when he left Leeds for us
Stuliasz Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Hull have just signed Allan McGregor for 1.8m. Will hopefully cool their interest in Kasper. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23146952

Wymsey Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 McGregor is good, but he can make embarrassing and simple errors as well as having a short fuse. I'd have Schmeichel any day.
Guest Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 McGregor is good, but he can make embarrassing and simple errors as well as having a short fuse. MOTD should be entertaining next season then with that combo
MPH Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Kasper is saying all the right things... but I cant help but think he would be off as soon as an offer comes in from a decent prem team...
Lost Dream Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 iirc he said something very similar when he left Leeds for us Won't he get a better deal as a free agent getting offers from Premier League sides? You know like a higher signing on fee etc.
Stuliasz Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Vito Mannone has gone to Sunderland. Seem to remember reading they were another club who were interested in Kasper. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23167704
Wymsey Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Are the reports of a testimonial match for Conrad Logan true? If so, when is it?
