Buzzell Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Ugh, this is so massively wrong as well. Tutoring is excellent. Always tutor if you have an appropriate pair of players to teach and learn. It does accompany a stat jump as well as just Det, although Det alone would still be worth it. Poach at 15/16, tutor til 17 and/or a good determination and then start thinking about loaning. Build up a network of feeder clubs in the best leagues you can manage. The best success I've had in stat gain from loans has come from Benfica, Porto and Sporting. Really any big club is good, though, as they'll have the best training facilities and play at a higher level. Don't loan them out where they won't play, mind. I'm going to give tutoring a go. Hopefully it will work. So the player tutoring needs to have determination at 20 to get the best out of the learner?

It needs to be higher (or the same as, although this is a bit pointless) than the student but it doesn't need to be 20, in fact sometimes it's bad to go too high. You need a mix of mid and high Det senior players, if you've a youngster with 10 Det, give him to a tutor with 14/15, then the following year a tutor with 17/18, etc. If there's a big difference in personality, they'll fall out and it won't work. If the tutor has lower determination, your student will lose determination. Also watch out for negative PPMs you don't want kids picking up. Shoots from range, hesitates on ball etc.

[ive posted a similar thing on fmbase but they all say players that i just cant afford] Playing the standard FM game [kinda got hooked on Classic mode] Playing as Leicester City, but having trouble with scoring.....i play a 5-2-3 / 5-3-2 [WB's, so its very central] Havent brought any players in as i just cant seem to find any decent players

First season I finished 2nd (highest ever league position) and then lost my 3 best players to TNS. 2nd season i won the treble, job done in Wales, turns out I didn't click a button which allows me to add other leagues, so I've had to start again !!! Fuming !

Fuming ! Can you not add the leagues in, finish a season and they'll "spawn" next time round? Might be with completely fictional people though. I've only ever done it with Greece and Turkey and that populated with newgens.
