Turner responded calmly, saying : "It's nothing to do with me". Got that in my news feed yesterday which made me chuckle. He was right, it had absolutely nothing to do with him and was just sloppy journalism.

They've got an alright team, players are of a decent quality and Zenit, Sparta, Lazio, Valencia etc are bidding but because the values are only a couple of hundred grand, I'm rejecting them. Walked the league in the first season and got knocked out in the 3rd qualifying round of the champions league but beat Molde 9-3 on aggregate to qualify for the Europa league. I got drawn against Swansea, Lyon and someone else but I've got 2 games left and I'm 5 points clear of 3rd place.
Dan Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 If you make them into a giant then you've done sensationally well, although I always liked raiding BATE as they produce a lot of good players. Pavel Niakhaichyk springs to mind. I ought to be promoted from here; Knockaert & Mahrez are both absolute machines. Defence needs a huge overhaul though. Been a sieve all season.

Dan Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 I'm actually laughing at my defence. It's a relegation defence saved by a superb attack. Liam Moore's been out all season. Morgan's been sent off four times. Wasilewski is awful. De Laet & Lee Wallace are 'OK', Dedryck Boyata & Ignasi Miquel are both very inconsistent. Just won 0-1 at Reading before being beaten 1-3 by a 10 man QPR side. Unacceptable. We're 2nd on 83, Boro on 83 are top, Blackburn are third on 81. 3 games to go. We'll come third. Matchday 44 sees all three sides win away. We actually kept a clean sheet to my amazement.
Beliall Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 it seems the same players i had last season that were good enough to win the cup and finish top of k league group b (with enough points to make the ACL had we not missed the cut off) are actually so shit we cant string two results together this year.

I've made some pretty good additions to the side, nothing too major the side hasn't been overhauled, but now struggling bottom half of table After telling the board that I'd challenge for the title as well so now my job security is quite low !

Ross-Kemp Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 So in the Europa league knockout stage I got drawn against Trabzonspor. 1-0 win at home for the mighty BATE, and a 2-1 loss away sees me through on away goals to take on Ajax !!! I lose 2-0 away and 4-1 at home ! European adventure over for another year. I really need to make the group stage of the champions league this season, the money it will bring in will be fantastic. I hope my euro ranking has increased a bit as well !

Totally agree - I'm on a save with Blackburn and Rhodes has been top scorer in the Prem in his first two seasons after promotion (32 goals then 20 goals). He also got 15 assists, playing alone up front as a Complete Forward. On a side note, I just made an inquiry with Man U for Adnan Januzai (still only 22) and they quoted me 33K! I'll take that.

There are a couple of Africans and Tim Payne of New Zealand who I want to sign for Gainsborough in League One but they're just sitting there unemployed and I can't get a work permit for them. First season in League One. Am in the relegation zone, 3 points adrift with 8 games left. COME ON. Took me 10 games to get a win in this league.

He's now worth over £20 million and Barcelona (amongst other top European clubs) keep wanting to sign him

DB11 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 God knows how but I've won the Champions League with Leicester. Only my second season in the Prem! Actually gobsmacked Beat Real Madrid in the quarters, PSG in the semi finals and Chelsea in the final. Still haven't won the EPL though
