Dan Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 King is a very decent shout. His shooting technique is fantastic and I reckon he'd be the type to hit a 25 yard free kick into an unexpected part of the goal.
yorkie1999 Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Waghorn has one hell off a shot on him, i found out to my cost when i was standing in the kop in row PP. Nearly took my head off.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I bet Logan can lob seamen from 30 yards
Danno Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I bet Logan can lob seamen from 30 yardsCalls himself Ronaldinho apparently.
jamesmilner Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Knockaert for me. he cant take penalties !
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 Waghorn has one hell off a shot on him, i found out to my cost when i was standing in the kop in row PP. Nearly took my head off. Plenty of power but evidently not very accurate if he twatted you in PP! <>
Jace Posted 4 September 2013 Posted 4 September 2013 Gally and Marshall are the only 2 players we have had for a long time who have any decent technical ability with free kicks even for corners they were often below par unfortunately
Swalker Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Knocky and Konch unless we're crossing it in when we should give it James. Never understood why Drinky stands near them?
deep blue Posted 6 September 2013 Posted 6 September 2013 Kingy is a good shout; puzzle why he's never taken free kicks or pens. James, from his corners, appears to be able to whip the ball over quickly. Maybe he has the ability to lift one over a defensive wall. If so, he'd be worth a try.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 7 September 2013 Posted 7 September 2013 Alan Sheehan is the best we've had in the last decade in terms of set piece delivery. How Wood is still allowed near them I don't know but he always seems to be at the front of the queue despite having never come close with one yet.

How Wood is still allowed near them I don't know but he always seems to be at the front of the queue despite having never come close with one yet. He's hit the post a couple of times but mostly smashes them over, Knocky on the other hand gets them on target but hits them with 3% power ending up in the keeper's hands

Sir Les scored a from a few free kicks, mostly by belting them straight through the wall
