Those hackers got about 300k worth of vouchers for file sharing site, think the reason its taking so long to come back up is because all the consoles are trying to connect to the PSN at the same time and its ddoss'ing there own servers now lol.

Got an xbox one over Christmas with 3 games for £300 which I thought wasn't to bad!

Good deal. I'm not a car game fan but Forza Horizon 2 is stunning. Blows anything on the ps4 away.

Just be patient, for £350-£370 this Christmas you could get a console with 4 games and 2 pads, whatever way you look at it, inflation or whatever, that's dirt cheap 1 year in to a cycle (which is when anyone not caught up in the hype should look at buying a console, the value is so much greater, and there's a library worth exploring).

I'm having a few problems with my Xbox One, seem to be disconnecting from the servers of the games I'm playing and losing connection from part chats at the same time. Seems to happen more when my brother is online at the same time as well. Anybody got any ideas? Is my broadband (Virgin 60mb Superhub 2) struggling to run 2 xbox ones at the same time? Any help would be appreciated

How far is your console away from the router? is your brothers console closer to the router than yours? Wireless signals get degraded very easily, especially if they have multiple devices trying to use it at once. Maybe try changing the wireless channel on your router and see it it helps?

If it is wireless i suggest getting a signal booster. I had issues with frequent disconnections on my pc in my room. That solved it.

No more than 30 or so yards and yes my brother is virtually on top of it but he is having similar issues as well. How would I go about changing the router settings? I'm not clued up on that sort of stuff.

How much are they? Any specific model to recommend?

Thanks for your feedback lads

Can you not run a network cable directly to it?

My bedroom is at the back of the house upstairs and the router is at the front of the house downstairs, don't fancy drilling through ceilings and floors.

Ok.. What about these network plug things you can buy? I know its putting on the £'s but may work out cheaper than the signal booster

I'm not sure on how they work or what would be the best one to get for my situation, sounds like I need something like it though.

Most isp's supply shit hardware, I'd buy a decent cable router

Basically this, first thing you should be doing when you get your internet set up is to buy a decent router and throw away the one they supply you with

But yeh if you are having issues with your connection dropping, and have a spare plug free near the router, I'd invest in a couple of homeplugs and just use it wired, or get the homeplugs that extend your wireless. It's basically like running a network cable through your electricity plugs, no need to drill anything or feed cables through your walls.

Any recommendations on any decent but affordable routers or homeplugs?

Thanks for feedback guys

Sorry mate...... Google?? ;)

And re the router... I use my virgin router in "modem mode" and use a cheap TPLink router to do the wifi/network stuff, with a couple of "switches" in the network.

I'll be honest, I've never used one, and know sfa about them but a hard wired connection on your "console" will not have dropouts or dead spots like a wifi setup in your set up at home. Good luck and let us know how you get in :)

I use them for my smart tv in the bedroom. I used them for my 360 as well. Suppose it'll depend on your internet speed.
