FrankieADZ Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 ive used powerline/Homeplugs for a while now. they are brilliant for consoles,PC etc; Im on Virgin Media and the hub is with sh*te for wireless signal. so they are a needed. i dont use TP link ones myself(I Used Solwise ones). u can get pwerline adapters that extend the wifi signal too.this is the one i got recently http://www.solwise.co.uk/net-powerline-av-plv-200av-pewn_mk2.htm (follow the instructions it will. if u dont it will create another wireless signal different to the router...still gets brilliant signal(which is coming via the wiring) )

Brenfox Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Titanfall with all dlc is £9.99 on Xbox live this week. You can get a £10 top up from g2a for £8.11. Not played Titanfall but seems like a steal to me.
glenny_fox Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 wasn't Titanfall meant to be one of the best, most revolutionary games for Xbox? that price drop is ridiculous
foz.foz Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Got Titan fall and the dlc at Xmas for a tenner if I remember right. Worth it for that price, but there's not so many playing it as there used to be... Sent from my Oneplus One

Legend_in_blue Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 wasn't Titanfall meant to be one of the best, most revolutionary games for Xbox? that price drop is ridiculous Oh yes. The future is bright - Destiny will last for ten years as well don't forget!
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 wasn't Titanfall meant to be one of the best, most revolutionary games for Xbox? that price drop is ridiculous there was nothing revolutionary about it. It was and still is better than most if not all ps4 exclusives though critically speaking It's a sales thing, it had its peak when it was released after which they died off resulting in a x mas sale. Very funny lib is pipeing up given his bestest game of all time ever was cut to £25 within 6 weeks of release and the game he's chosen to slag off still holds its original rrp

Itsthejoeker Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 I promptly sold Destiny, it was horrendous.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Here we go again - and to think it had been so quiet since the start of this year... To your credit you've been much better this year. That post is a return to form though on several levels though.Just because a games on sale doesn't mean it's bad and destiny as a trilogy is supposed to last 10 years. Not just destiny, that would be horrendous as a few months was enough, So three games, There is undoubtedly huge potential in the game if bungee address the glaring problems with the first, as a big assassins creed fan you should know know how much improvement a sequal can make if the original idea was sound but the execution wasn't quite there.
DB11 Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Been trying to find a PS4 game to buy for ages but none of them look good
kingcarr21 Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Been trying to find a PS4 game to buy for ages but none of them look good Im in the same situation. Ive got Watchdogs and its ok but not very exciting. Think the only decent game out atm is Far Cry 4 which im going to buy soon. Dont waste your money on The Evil Within. Aliens is supposed to be really good and you can pick it up cheap now. I might get that next
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Mordor or dragon age? If you didn't play remake of resident evil the remaster is supposed to be good.
Itsthejoeker Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Definitely Mordor, tonnes of gameplay, good story line.
SMX11 Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Mordor is great fun. Storyline is meh imo but you can lose hours messing around with the orc chain of command.

To my credit and a return to form...? I've not mentioned prices or sales figures. I merely made a tongue in cheek comment about Destiny and you've run with it. I agree with your comment on the potential certain new IPs bring to the market though but we've been constantly let down over the previous year with products that are in an unfinished state. Ubisoft are the biggest culprits here and have made a total mess of 2014, bar Far Cry 4 which to all accounts at least works properly. Destiny is just a money grabbing IP on a big scale, dlcs, season passes, just throw money at it and people have and will continue to do so. It's like Candy Crush Saga - they suck certain people into the game and make them feel obliged to part with their cash to fuel their addiction. It's actually quite clever but I won't be sucked into it. Micro transactions are just as bad - those in Assassins Creed Unity for example are an unwanted extra and are nothing more than a hindrance. The companion app chests and initiate chests were a dreadful idea and giving the option of buying in game credits? , no chance. Just make the game, shove it on a disc, and make it work. Sod the dlcs and season passes, just make it decent first time round. Play it, complete it, get rid of it. It was so straightforward before all this nonsense. Been trying to find a PS4 game to buy for ages but none of them look good Alien Isolation. Infamous Second Son. Dragon Age Origins if you have 200 hours spare.
Brenfox Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 I don't usually agree with lib but I hate digital content. Just put everything on the disc.
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 I don't usually agree with lib but I hate digital content. Just put everything on the disc. I don't hate the fact that you can get hold of digital content - I'd be quite happy to download a digital copy of a game if its price was comparable to disc copies. Take Diablo 3 for example, why pay £59.99 for a digital copy when you can buy the disc version for just under £35 on amazon? Who buys these digital copies? They're hardly value for money. I'd be happy to if prices were reasonable. PS+ is just about worth it though imo. There have been some decent titles over the second half of last year.

This. I'd love to know how much money EA get from people purchasing Fifa points..
