Legend_in_blue Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Well good old Game at it again. Got my Xboxone bundle on Tuesday missing 3 games. To cut a long story short, £20 worth of phone calls, me having to send the whole lot back to them, 5 total hours on web chat, 6 different promises of a manger calling me I finally caved & insisted on a refund. Now just 10 days to wait before I get my money back. Totally & utterly useless. Can't even go to moan instore as I ordered online. Total tossbags. Don't do any business with GAME again. I've not bothered for years - especially when you can buy brand new unsealed copies of games for less than their pre-owned copies.
Brenfox Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Finally got my refund from Game in the form of an Evoucher so has to be spent online. I had traded a few games this week & had £50 on my reward card so I wanted to order a better bundle. Guess what? They wouldn't let me use my reward card online, instore only apparently. Tossers. So I've had to give them more of my money & nearly 48 hours later it still hasn't shipped. once it's here I'll be kicking up a big fuss about this, well bigger than I already have.

Brenfox Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 I looked at that yesterday & couldn't see a way to post onto their actual page. Think you can only comment on statuses & they're already full of similar tales. I won't rest until I get something decent from them.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 I thought I was 100% set on getting a PS4 but my Xbox 360 is almost dead now, and the Xbox One can be had for £350 with 2 controllers and 3 games… really don't know which to plump for

No point in buying an Xbox if all of your mates have PS4's and vice versa.

You'd think that a company that almost went under would do a better job of looking after their customers. Shop elsewhere once you're sorted.
Brenfox Posted 9 December 2014 Posted 9 December 2014 Still not shipped. Company is a joke. At least I got a ps4 already to keep me occupied.
Brenfox Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Finally arrived today. Switched it on to be greeted by a 500mb update. There's one tenth of hd space gone already!

Legend_in_blue Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Unfinished games. That is what 2014 will be remembered for. The latest Assassins Creed Unity update weighs in at 6.7gb today. That is ridiculous. Developers shouldn't be pushing through incomplete products. The update needs to address the trophy bug on the renovations on cafe theatre. Anyone had problems with this? I have fully renovated it and the trophy hasn't unlocked. Shame because platinum is easily doable with this game.
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 We have received and confirmed reports that some Xbox One players who have previously applied Patch 3 are seeing a 40GB download instead of the expected 6.7GB download. Unfortunately, an issue with the patch downloading process is replacing the entire game instead of just the parts affected by the patch. This is obviously not the expected behavior, and we apologize that many of you will have to wait longer than expected to complete this download. This issue isn't causing any other problems and once the download is completed players will have the most-up-to-date and fully patched version of Assassin's Creed Unity. We are working with Microsoft on a solution to reduce the total download to the intended size so that you can get back into the game faster, but as of now we have no ETA on when this will be resolved. That is a disgrace. Any xbone ac unity owners on here?
FrankieADZ Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 ouch...I thought the game(AC Unity) ran alot better after the last patch before this last one. its a very goo game tbh. DriveClub is a hell of alot better too. you can get it for £30 now....and imo...its a a v.good driving game...most of the problems it has have been ironed out now. also....remote play has not been ported to all devices...you dont need root either(think you might to use the controller though).....tried it earlier on my tablet and phone....works well tbh...still bout a 1sec lag.....but hey ho....least there's the option to play on the can now

Legend_in_blue Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 The 6.7gb update has mended the flickering floor tiles in the cafe theatre. Hats off to ubisoft. Nothing else of note. The trophy bug is still there.
red5 Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Reports are showing the ps4 is having bga failure, similar to the ps3 and xbox 360, the xbone is not yet showing any bga failures. :xmastongue:
Brenfox Posted 17 December 2014 Posted 17 December 2014 Well just got round to playing my new Xboxone. Put Dead rising 3 in & after a 5 minute install it needs a 16gb update to be able to play. So I put Ryse in & that needs a 9gb update. I just want to play a bloody game ffs!
leicsmac Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Welcome to the brave new world, where everything is connected to the Internet and so companies can get away with releasing shit products for stupid money because they can release grossly oversized patches for them later. Fvck the consumer - it's not like they're going to stop buying them, is it? God I miss the days when console games were just released as they were. No DLC con artistry, no microtransaction bullshit, no need for spurious 'updates'. At least then you knew where you stood as far as it being good or crap was and the devs actually put time into the reputable releases and made sure they were actually bug free before releasing.

Pushed out/rushed out for Christmas only to be full of bugs. Out cry in the gaming community... patch after patch released to get it fixed and a tarnished name for EA sports. Yes the big guns can push out games like mad but 2 or 3 fcuk ups and they'll be out of business. Sent from my Oneplus One

I'm long past thinking they don't give a fvck about their customers purely because they have a captive market that will swallow anything that's fed to them. Especially in the case of EA because of the stupidly huge cashcow that is FIFA.
foz.foz Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Spot on, and I probably should have said franchise Sent from my Oneplus One
