Brenfox Posted 28 February 2015 Posted 28 February 2015 Just finished breaking bad after watching the whole lot in about 3 weeks. Absolutely brilliant & I'm genuinely gutted it's over.
Rincewind Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I expect most of you have got further than four episodes. I like how people are gradually pissing him off. The Ken Wins the latest one. Now Ken Loses.

Now Ken Loses. Are you sure this is Breaking Bad? Stick with it Ken, it's absolutely brilliant, if you are enjoying it at the start of the first series you'll absolutely be addicted by the middle of the third.

Stick with it Ken, it's absolutely brilliant, if you are enjoying it at the start of the first series you'll absolutely be addicted by the middle of the third. Yes. Ken was the bloke in a business suit who was being an asshole and pinched a parking space at the bank and being rude to other customers. Then he cut Walt up at the garage. Walt went up to his car put a metal plate under the bonnet and caused a fire then walked calmly away. Ken had KEN W1N5 as a licence plate. (should this be in a spoiler?) Got to the end of the first series. It is more with him just turning into a drug dealer. It is how a normal bloke deals with the news that he has cancer and wants to ensure his family are secure. Also Jesse seems to have learnt more about chemistry than when he was a student so there is hope even for him. Is there a conclusion after series five which is how many is listed? It is hard to see how it can last that long as the DEA have already established where the eqipment for the crystal came from. I shall stick with it. One or two episodes a day will be just over 4 weeks I think.
Rincewind Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Only up to the second series and because I watched the first in two days.
Merging Cultures Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Only up to the second series and because I watched the first in two days.Don't go getting ideas about how to supplement your pension.
Guest MattP Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 The Tories introducing the living wage and Ken being completely on the ball in the same day. Things are getting stranger.
Danizen Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Just finished season four. Five all day tomorrow. That's a very casual reaction for someone who's just watched some of the best TV in history (the back end of season 4) .
Rincewind Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 That's a very casual reaction for someone who's just watched some of the best TV in history (the back end of season 4) . Trying not to give anything away.
Stadt Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Trying not to give anything away. This is the breaking bad spoiler thread
Rincewind Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 This is the breaking bad spoiler thread Yes I guessed that when I read that Saul is having his own series and wont be gunned down as I thought possible. I find him a creepy nasty character so his own series? Maybe the spoilers should be put in spoilers. The proper BB thread must be way down the pages. If it is the spoiler thread it should be OK to say I thought the series was about finished after 4. Walts family are safe and all the bad guys are dead so what will go on in five? I am about to find out in 12 hours time 16x45min plus food and drink breaks. I have found that I can only watch two or three before the stream starts buffering but pausing it for a while solves it.
Rincewind Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Just watched the final series in one go. Apart from breaks. Bit Tired. when he fell over at the end where were his legs? Good programme I Lost sympathy for Walt but hope Jesse can turn his life around.
Babylon Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 Breaking Bad is coming back for a sixth series... Walt lived!!!!
pSinatra Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 Apparently, this is an image from the storyboard of season 6 & filming begins in December. http://nbc.com.co/vince-gilligan-announces-breaking-bad-season-6-begins-shooting-december-2015-walt-did-not-die/
Guest MattP Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 It's not coming back guys, come on... nbc.co
Babylon Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 It's not coming back guys, come on... nbc.co Arrrrgh ****.... a whole website dedicated to shit. Some dick I follow on twitter RT'd it and on my phone that looked pretty real. How do they get that to the top of the news feed on google!!!
MooseBreath Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 If it did happen and Walt was in jail like that it would be absolutely epic. I can actually see it happening at some point. Imagine the money to be made.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 If it did happen and Walt was in jail like that it would be absolutely epic. I can actually see it happening at some point. Imagine the money to be made. I did wonder if they purposefully didn't show Walt being taken away in a body bag just in case they ever decided to make another Even if Walt died (which he did) they could do another series one day, maybe following Jesse (did he "get out" or is does he still have people after him) or Skyler, maybe Walt's change of personality rubbed off on her and she's gotten into the game? Reckon there won't be any more of the series, it was a pretty perfect ending, but part of me really wants to watch more
Guest MattP Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 I got to be honest reading the article did wet the appetite. A nationwide manhunt for Jesse, the fall out from Lydia and the Nazis, Walt in prison facing trial running his business, it does have the makings of a good series. A series might be too far fetched but a 2 hour film could be a goer.
MooseBreath Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 Walt would obviously have to break him and Jessie out of jail using chemistry as well
Finnegan Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 No, no, nooooo. I love breaking bad but let it go. It's run its course, it ended well. Don't let it jump the shark. Give us more Better Call Saul, that was fab.

A nationwide manhunt for Jesse, the fall out from Lydia and the Nazis, Walt in prison facing trial running his business, it does have the makings of a good series. A series might be too far fetched but a 2 hour film could be a goer. I could get behind a film IF it was done exceptionally well and ended on an entirely conclusive note.Personally though I'd consider any ending other than Walt dying at the end of the last episode to be a massive kop out. He's dead, he was always meant to die, it's over. Edit: some kind of Jesse origin story or a Walt origin story circa his break up with his former business etc would be alright. Or a Jesse spin off mini series post-Walt. I'm well up for more BB universe just not a direct continuation where Walt survives.
MooseBreath Posted 28 October 2015 Posted 28 October 2015 But if Walt lives then it is set up for such a good series. I wouldn't want it to go on forever but one more series wouldn't hurt, would it? Might have to start watching it again actually. I've still only watched it once all the way through. BCS was weak in comparison, I'm not excited for the next series at all.
