Gary Madine jailed for 18 months

2 unprovoked assaults in nightclubs within 4 weeks of one another - and already had 1 assault conviction, apparently. Left 1 bloke unconscious with a broken nose, the other with a broken jaw and shattered cheek bone.

 

Sounds like a nasty piece of work to judge from the report...

So this guy has not only made an arse of himself, threw his job away that earns him over £250,000 a year, going to jail and losing a 18 months of his mid twenties, but he's jeopardising his family and their home.

I love it how every time someone goes to prison the lines about soap in the showers and getting raped come out. This guy broke someone's nose and another person's cheekbone. I'm sure he'll be able to handle himself behind bars!

It's a lot different hitting someone in a nightclub who's probably highly intoxicated, to being in prison with Murderers, gang members and seriously dangerous people.

Most people I know say prison is quite easy. Only problem is if he somehow thinks he's better than everyone else just because he's a footballer.
