Tommy G Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 He is clinging onto every bit of fame he has Isn't he opening a pound land next week? He also sponsors his local Chinese by the looks of his twitter. Club legend for sure but it's getting frankly a bit embarrassing these days for him
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Steve Walsh will always have a place in my heart for what he did at City. I've never seen any player so proudly wear the Blue Shirt as Walshy. He never gave in and treated us to some truly special nights at Filbert Street.

He also sponsors his local Chinese by the looks of his twitter. Club legend for sure but it's getting frankly a bit embarrassing these days for him Walsh can do what he wants in my eyes, one of the few Leicester players of our generatiopn who deserves his status. He's probably blown a fair amount of the bunce he earnt on women, again he deserves his status. I thought he owned that chinese anyway The Dragons Den?

1964FOX Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Him and Muzzy are the only two men I know who had to close a bookies down as they were losing money. He openly admits that all his business ventures don't do too well but there's no doubt he does alright. Also it's nice of him to open a Chinese at one of my locals.
Ric Flair Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Him and Muzzy are the only two men I know who had to close a bookies down as they were losing money. Hahahahahahahaaa what bookies was that? Hahahaaa
Guest MattP Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Hahahahahahahaaa what bookies was that? Hahahaaa City Bookmakers in Town, was opposite the Goose. Think it lasted about 9 months. It was so good, Izzet, Walshy and some other guy owned it, they offered the full SP on every single horse and greyhound race even if you took an early price. Any coupon selection for any sport was matched with the industry best price if you could prove it. I worked in town at the time and it was a godsend, the only bookie I've ever made a profit in over a long period of time. Every lunch we hit the bookies and went from losing £500 a month approx I think to making that.I miss that place, being paid out on 7/2 dogs that ended up at 6/1 you just couldn't get anywhere else. One of their Tuesday coupons once had an Italian 2nd divison match that was played the night before, we all put £200 on at 6/4 knowing they had already won 1-0, it was so obvious, the staff wondered what was going on, went in the next day expecting to be told its voided etc and probably get a bit of a bollocking but we all got paid out £500 each.
