Fox92 Posted 14 November 2013 Share Posted 14 November 2013 Village Green by the Kinks is a really good album... I picked up the deluxe version last year for £2, which I thought was decent. Sgt Peppers is a good album, I don't think it's the Beatles' best though... My two favourites from that album are 'A Day In The Life', which I personally think is the greatest song the Bealtes wrote, and 'Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite'. (For some reason it wont let me upload an image of the album!). This is my other favourite, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars... 'Starman', 'Ziggy Stardust' and 'Sufragette City' are all great songs. Massive fan of Bowie.

pSinatra Posted 14 November 2013 Share Posted 14 November 2013 http://youtu.be/6uG112MoOm4 and anything by Pink Floyd. I probably like The Wall best, but it always seems a waste if you're not prepared to listen to it in full.

inckley fox Posted 14 November 2013 Share Posted 14 November 2013 I'd go along with The Streets. The 'England trilogy' by Blur and 'Arthur' by The Kinks should be up there too. As for Bowie, I never got why 'Diamond Dogs' was so maligned. Love all of his dystopian paranoid stuff.
