Russell sprout Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 I am curious as to what the leicester city players earn, from kasper to schullp, some friends have said top earners 30k a week,i think that's bollox, ild have thought 15k tops, with 7-8k the average, interested in your opinions folks?or facts?
Soar Fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 A lot less than some of the wages players were on when Pearson first came back. I'd say the highest earners would be close to £30k a week. That would be Nugent, Konchesky and maybe Kasper.

Ild have thought that even beckford who would have been on ridiculous money would have been on 25k a week tops???
TJB-fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Beckford was one of the highest paid footballers at this level, it was something ridiculous like 40k I think, matt mills was on a similar wage I imagine
Soar Fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Danns will be on a fair wedge here. Not sure what % of it we will be paying or any at all whilst he's out on loan.
Bert Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 I know that until he turned 20 Schlupp was the highest paid teenager in the league. What the exact figure is I don't know.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Another Sven master stroke. Behave.
21st Century Fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Another Andrew Neville master stroke.
Guest MattP Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Both culpable. Neville doesn't seem to be doing this while Nigel is in charge.
MPH Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 I was just sitting drinking some coffee and I thought to myself you know what foxestalk is missing? It's a discussion on how much the players get paid. Glad someone agreed!

21st Century Fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Both culpable. Neville doesn't seem to be doing this while Nigel is in charge. They learnt a lesson. The Thais also aren't telling local newspapers that they have unlimited funds to spend any more either.

Haydos Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 The new footy manager has made me think a bit about wages. It includes the amount they receive after tax which while obviously still plenty, is also a lot less than the £30k or whateve that gets thrown around. Either way we're going to have a higher wage bill than most in the league.

I think this is why we worry to much about loosing players in January, every other club in the division has to abide by the same rules, and let's say forest wanted Morgan,he's likely to cost to much in wages along with the majority of the squad, unless qpr come in for our players(having the parachute payments and league position) I don't think we have anything to worry about?
Dan Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 Behave. Would it have happened under Pearson? People continue to defend Sven unreal.

It's a bit different with us as our best players are out of contract in the summer. Forest & QPR seem to be exempt from FFP anyway, well at least that's the hint I get from the pair of them's spending.
