That means, by definition, weve been the best team of the season SO FAR I wish people would stop saying shit like this. Last season it was "we're still top". Then it was "we're still second". Next came "we're still in the play-offs". After that it was "well, we're only just outside the play-offs". I get it, we're still top. It doesn't mean that it's not a missed opportunity though. Come the end of the season, we'll need all these points.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 It's infuriating considering who we've lost to this season really. Charlton, Doncaster, Forest and now Wednesday. Granted, four defeats in 18 is a very solid start but we need to be putting sides like that away.

It happens to every team now and then, there are 23 teams in the Championship who have more right to complain than us. i am pleased we are top of the league but it is alright to be despondent that we didn't at least get a draw!

Hmmmmm And are top of the second tier and have beaten a Premier League team in the FA Cup despite not playing the strongest team.

Just to clarify, the who gives a **** was directed at the guy saying it was wednesday's second win, as if to say that makes the loss a worse loss i wasnt intending to be complacent about being top of the table

Today was unfortunate (in a sense) - you came up against a rejuvenated team looking to prove something now that the manager has gone. I am glad we did it, definitely needed the win, but I wouldn't look at this result with too much importance from your point of view.
