The Horse's Mouth Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 You know something is wrong when you're paying Hansen 50 grand for his "expert football analysis"
Corky Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 They should get this spoof on every week, cheaper and very accurate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfQarImZ97Y

StanSP Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Yawn. He, along with Lawro and now Shearer, are becoming so stale when watching MOTD. I actually prefer watching it on record so I can't fast forward their mundane, dull 'analysis'. Their analysis is simply just putting what they see in words - that's a commentators job. There's nothing in-depth that they offer. I hope they never have to pay him (so I hope he never works for those who can't work it out)

The Horse's Mouth Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Neville and Carragher would be just as bad.
StanSP Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 I wish that Neville and Carragher signed for MOTD, Same. Neville and Carragher would be just as bad. No way. They're way more insightful than the dross MOTD is lumbered with. And at least there'd be some genuine 'banter' (hate that word) in the studio. Sometimes the current lot make it look so scripted. I actually don't mind when people like Savage or other recently-retired footballers are on.

ScouseFox Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Can't they just pay Thierry to come back every week
AKCJ Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Neville and Carragher would be just as bad. In the fact that they're deplorable ***** yes. But they know their football.

I actually don't mind when people like Savage or other recently-retired footballers are on. Just having some mad banter with the lads don't see a problem with that lad. In the fact that they're deplorable ***** yes. But they know their football. Neville is alright can't stand Carragher though.
Fox92 Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 I always record MOTD and fast forward it anyway as the analysis is boring. Some things they pick out are interesting, but most of it either get's on my nerves or is obvious. Even Brian Clough said football was over-analysed back when he was a manager, and I don't think it was as bad as what it is now.
Haydos Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Just having some mad banter with the lads don't see a problem with that lad. Neville is alright can't stand Carragher though. Carragher is top as well, he just needs to get more comfortable with being on telly. They're both the best pundits to appear on tv so far. Whoever bagged Henry for the world cup got a good'n as well. All 3 are intelligent, articulate pundits who clearly understand the modern game and go deeper than just describing what's on the screen.
Lamby Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I don't think I've watched MOTD in about 3 years
Soar Fox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I don't think I've watched MOTD in about 3 years To busy out pulling bitches on a Saturday night hey Lamby.

Can Carragher ever be described as articulate? I can't understand him half the time. *High-pitched Scouse squeel* "Eeeeeerm".
