Jimothy Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 I don't really get the Vettel hate.Three things. People don't like teams or people who totally dominate. They like to see some competition. And in a sport like F1 wheres it not totally down to the driver it's even more annoying, because people are looking at the grid and thinking the likes of Hamilton and Alonso would challenge him with similar equipment. Secondly people don't really like OTT arrogance. And thirdly people don't like the way he behaved towards other driver, particularly his team mate.Just my opinion obviously but it's the general idea I get from people.

I think sacking your dad is fairly cuntish, but that might just be me.

Don't see him as arrogant, he's always really humble in victory and defeat. Sacking his dad, you mean replacing him. You gotta do what's right for your career. I think you've got Murray/Bale syndrome. People in the Uk seem to have a real problem with very good home grown talent. You know the ones that are good but not quite the best, they'll always find a stick to best them with.

After he crossed the line to an -ing 13th, giving it large with his hands only served to highlight his petulance further. Can't stand him. Glad he struggled today and long may this continue.

It's probably more to do with him being in the way of Rosberg rather than him being English, I can't stand his fanboys either which also probably contributes to it.
