Nick Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 It's a bit wet in Malaysia Yeah it looks grim - though it'll probably dry out in patches of the track later in the session and screw up tyre choices!
Amin Posted 29 March 2014 Author Posted 29 March 2014 This is why races should be held midday at local time.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Hamilton on pole, red bull will be pleased with second, it is clear they have the pace but Mercedes have the edge at the moment
The Horse's Mouth Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Little bummed out by qualifying but we can still end up in the points if there is the same amount of DNFs as last race
Amin Posted 30 March 2014 Author Posted 30 March 2014 The race simulation data from practice is interesting, Vettel was actually on the same pace as the two Mercedes drivers. I would assume Mercedes were sandbagging considering their dominant pace in Australia but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a Red Bull win in the next few races.
Jimothy Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Apparently this victory mean Hamilton is the first driver to win at least one race in his first right seasons in f1.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 those last laps were unbearable, I thought Bottas and Massa were going to take each other out.
Jimothy Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Hamilton needs a haircut Vettel looks like Josh Widdecombe, doesn't make either of them any slower does it.When I say both of them, I mean Vettel and Hamilton, not Vettel and Widdecombe
foxes_rule1978 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Well done Lewis great drive, managed the tyres and fuel load well...
Jimothy Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 urgh get that microphone away from him Yes let's get the mic away from the race winner. Tool.
Beliall Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 May have been referring to rosberg plugging petronas
Jimothy Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 May have been referring to rosberg plugging petronas My bad, I was in the shower and missed the interviews, and assumed due to his previous Hamilton bashing he was carrying it on.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 obsessed, I barely bashed him anyway all I said was he needs a haircut
ADK Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 It's nice to see Hamilton winning although I miss Ross Brawn on the pit wall. There is more spread in the performance of the cars and that is making the racing a little boring. A lot of teams finishing in consecutive places. The Merc engine is too much better than the Renault for Red Bull to challenge this season unless they are allowed to update them.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Agreed about Brawn, shame he went out before the start of the season. By the looks of things, if he had stayed he could've gone out with a constructors.
isaidno Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 What did Seb actually say? He said the cars sound 'sh!t '
isaidno Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Borerain Gp this weekend. Should be the first dry qualifying of the season, but it's raining there at the moment. Expect to see Williams a lot closer to the front
iamafox Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 The floodlights at the circuit will be used won't they?
