Guest MattP Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 It's the banks that have caused the recession. Therefore it is bizarre the amount of attention given over to people claiming benefit. I can't remember many topics on banks but we get 10+ page topics on benefits all the time. They get mentioned in every thread about politics!

There aren't many topics properly discussing how we should be regulating the banking system to prevent another crisis though. Or I missed them. Perhaps because it's easier to point and laugh at thick people on welfare.
Guest MattP Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Not only easier but far more enjoyable as well. Some bankers did an appalling job but you can understand people having more sympathy for doing a job poorly than actually having an intention of never contributing to society.

There was probably quite a few threads about it at the time, but since the recession was six years ago and the country is now booming it's only natural that those conversations are going to have died down.

Especially when they're sat around all day doing **** all. As for the parenting, letting your kids hang around with junkies and drunks, the kids will slip off their bikes onto the doorstep with them as they get older. Social services should do a sweep through the street once the programme gives them all the evidence they need.
Stadt Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Everybody when buying alcohol should have to show ID, people on benefits should have a sticker or whatever on their ID so they are unable to buy alcohol. If you're not working you shouldn't be allowed alcohol. Then MattP can sell them a can of larger for about £4 as well.

Probably hasn't applied for a single job in four years You really have to wonder when you see stuff like this, who was signing him off as looking for work at the job centre when he hadn't even complied a cv?
