Donut Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 Is that cos of their accents yeh? They are pwopa English you know, stars of Green Street, the scumbags on Eastenders like them. They think they're one of the big 4 cos they're from London and Bobby Moore once played for them. Do they? Never really associate that delusional sleeping giant vibe with the Hammers, just seem like a set of fans passionate about their club and wanting to play some vaguely entertaining football.

Yeh they are. They thought they were far too big for the Championship, it was almost like they treated he league with disdain even when they won. You could just tell they thought they were above it. They've always thought they're pretty special.

Well, if they were treating the championship with distain, theyd better show it some respect when we swap places at the end of the season thats for sure. Because Allardyce is only taking them one way.

Although you're trying to somehow mock me, I rarely watch tv, especially Eastenders, and I've never seen Green Street. So I wouldn't know. I just like them as a club, and as I said, they've produced some wonderful players for this country. They think they're a big club do they? Well doesn't everyone, I mean, have you seen some of the comments on here at times?

Id have to agree that the comparison drawn with green street is irrelevant, and ive always thought they were an honest and pretty down to earth bunch of fans. Seemed from the outside that their frustrations during the championship season were not so much a distain for the league, more so for Sam Allardyce not fitting into the "West Ham" culture, and for the poor home form they displayed at Upton Park owing to Sam's style
separator Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 West Ham had a full page advert in the London edition of the Metro today trying to flog tickets.... Man City 2nd leg game adult tickets from £42. Good luck selling that to the casual fan. I dont understand why they would want to move to a 90,000 seater stadium. wouldnt chelsea have been better off taking it rather than the few small clubs in the running. When West Ham move in it will have been redesigned as a 54,000 seat stadium, that's still 20,000 extra seats than Upton Park though.

The only way they will get a half decent crowd is if the advertise it as all proceeds go towards paying off big Sam! In all seriousness if he is the 13th highest paid manager in the world, can they afford to sack him? Any ideas how long his contract has to run?
Poznan34 Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 Surely not? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/west-ham/10562380/West-Ham-consider-shock-move-for-Nottingham-Forests-Billy-Davies.html

King Billy going there would be hilarious. Natalie Jackson sending her CV off to BBC London as we speak.

Uncle Albert Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Or people don't judge a football club on their fans being hooligans or not..
