Like every one does in every stadium in Europe when this happens? I literally have pictures on my phone from the middle of a pyro show in Austria with 7 or 8 year olds standing behind me, loving it. English football fans aren't just precious, their a bunch of ****ing pansies.

Who cares? It adds to the atmosphere. Cant believe some of you are saying it could of burnt someone etc! Listen to yourselves. Dont sit next to the away fans if you cant handle a bit of tension and aggro. Smoke bombs can have serious negative side effects, thanks to toxins emitted by the smoke. It can affect eyes and lungs badly, and cause severe allergies or lung infections. Which leads to a smoke bomb thrower/builder effectively being somebody causing bodily harm. I don't see how smoke bombs "add to the atmosphere". They actually subtract from the atmosphere, by taking away the sight and air that one breathes. Throwing smoke bombs is a careless act. Especially in the family area, with kids who don't know how to defend themselves from inhaling the vapor. It's plain silly. You and your pals (whomever your accomplices are) ought to be ashamed of yourselves, take a real good look in the mirror and at least apologize sincerely for your reckless behaviour.

Even worse that smoke bombs are being set off in a 'Family Stand', not the smartest of ideas lads, young children and all that. They're fantastic away from home but in the King Power on a freezing Monday at home to Boro? Nah, they aren't the coolest of things. Surely when you younger lads are settled down with some kids of your own and you take them to a City game, you would be a little pissed off if a smoke bomb landed near you and your little lad? The worse thing to ever come from this new little craze is this embarrassing line lads seem to use now.. "No pyro, no party", really?

As much as I agree you have to be some kind of scumbag to even come up with a 'genius' or 'cool' idea like that, you have to add in the factors. When you get a bunch of kids together they act like morons, which was shown here, however when an 'adult', nearly 10 hours later is still threatening someone, who more than likey is a troll and wasn't even at the game, it gets a lot closer. Yes it COULD have hit him and his children, yes someone COULD have been hurt and yes it was utterly stupid, but sat at home at nearly 2am, saying how you would have done 'this and that' to someone over the internet, makes me worry about humanity. Behind a keyboard, everyone is rambo nowadays. To conclude, someone is telling someone else they would hurt them, over the internet, for them 'acting hard' over the internet.

Everyone agrees that although flares can make for a better atmosphere under the correct circumstances, launching it into the family stand isn't the way to go about it. They've done their bit to make themselves look hard amongst themselves, the club have dealt with it & the threats have been issued from this forum if it happens again. However as a lover of foxestalk drama I'll continue to laugh at the keyboard warriors' comments as and when they come
