ImBlue Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'm stood 3 seats away from the barrier in L1 next to the away fans, so I think I've got a pretty good idea of it all. I'll rephrase. Yes they do, and you being smart trying to correct someone is boring.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Yeah maybe even better you publicising it more though hey? Too back LCFCFOX up yes the away fans do sing to us 'Sit down in your family stand'. Just demonstrating how easy it is to find.
Carl the Llama Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Hey what's it matter to you what someone does in their photos? They are young kids. You would have been that age once? Why so serious Don't get me wrong, I think it's sweet, but things have changed from my teen years if the 'tough' kids cuddle each other now.
Guest Bilo Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'm loving the irony of the 'Flare in N-Block' title being but a short distance from the word 'HOT' in an orange box.
Out Foxed Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'm loving the irony of the 'Flare in N-Block' title being but a short distance from the word 'HOT' in an orange box. that's not irony
ImBlue Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 that's not irony I'll save the childish argument. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony
Kitchandro Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 It's offensive to people who actually have mental health problems, not just to some jerk on foxestalk. By that logic it's offensive to most blokes to call someone a willy puller. It's an offensive term that I would never use in the presence of someone who actually had mental health problems. But it was intended to be offensive to the poster it was aimed at, hence why I used it.
Soar Fox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 That lads twitter lol "But us lads are putting some money together to get some more" "As soon as I saw it I started going mental inside"
Ashley Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Imagine if there was a flare set off in N Block. Worse than Millwall I heard. Fvcking hooligans
Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 If there is no issue with this, why didn't the dummy who smuggled it in and let it off just stand there holding it showing everyone what a big boy he was?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 No sympathy for them anymore. Same group of people moaning and asking for sympathy posting on here when they get told to sit down. Bunch of muppets. Exactly this. Winging tools haven't helped themselves by doing this. I expect the club to come down heavily now, thanks to these idiots.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 26 January 2014 Author Posted 26 January 2014 I didn't expect this much "in-fighting" when I created this thread. The bottom line for me is don't light flares or smoke bombs in an area packed with kids. I can't even justify it in other parts of the ground as I'm sure there are kids all over.
Monk Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I remember a few years ago at palace both TPH and myself took our wives along and some window licker behind us let off a flare, dropped it on the floor in the wooden seats which were full of litter. I started a thread on here slating it on safety grounds and replies were fairly 'not bothered'. Good to see times are changing in terms of attitude, but shame that we still see this happening in modern grounds like our own. There is a time and a place for pyros - November 5th and December 31st.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Why are some people saying it's harsh giving them/the person who did it a 3 game ban? Yet I remember you saying about the guy calling someone in the fanstore an idiot to his son saying he deserves it

Soup Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 While I agree setting the thing off was a stupid thing to do,especially with all the publicity around them lately. We're there really kids distressed by this? Wow back in late 70's early 80's this would of been seen as awesome to a 10 year old.Daft as it may seem but I remember other kids chasing us with lit airbombs.Best days of my life.

I agree with this to be fair. Not saying it's necessarily right but I don't remember feeling in any distress when Red Star fans buried Filbert Street in smoke although that's just one person. I'm thinking more of this 'family friendly atmosphere' in general and how the club on many occasions have tried to make out that passion/noise isn't wanted by the kids. I loved it all myself.
Uncle Albert Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Kids probably will love it. Do parents want to take their children to a game of football and sit in the family stand and have a smoke bomb land near them? Should kids be inhaling the smoke and the smoke in their eyes? The answers are no. This time it was a smoke bomb, say next time it's a flare that lands near the children or even hits one of them, imagine the damage that could do to a little 5 year old lad? I would be fuming and if it was to happen to my child (not that I have any) I wouldn't threaten whoever was responsible for the flare, I would throttle the shitbag.

Your totally right m8,I'm just making a point about distressed kids if indeed there we're any.Just saying the only thing that distressed me as a young kid was the thought of leaving school.
AndWhat? Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Kids love the pyro!! Exhibit A - FC Wacker Innsbruck (crouching down for a chant) Ten minutes earlier..... Exhibit B - OFI Crete, the two young lads (one very young!) in this picture could not be more in the middle of it if they tried! Ten minutes later......
LMlcfc Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 These smoke 'burn so hot' that stewards pick them up and walk off with them.... Let's end this silly argument, don't set anymore off in the family stand as it could be harmfully to the youngens, but take them away games they are pure quality everyone loves a smoke bomb wooooop Birmingham here we come
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 And June 21st 2014. yes. I'll be taking some for that
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 26 January 2014 Author Posted 26 January 2014 We're there really kids distressed by this? Granted 7-8 year olds might not be but my 3 year old certainly was.
