Ashley Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I pray for the day we strike a deal with Nike. I may actually then be able to wear a Leicester shirt. And have a template shirt? No thank you.

Alexikokopops Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I was speaking hypothetically! Jesus! Talk about highlighting one part of a post to disprove something. IF they want to pay £100m they can. IF they want to pay £50m they can. IF they want to pay £10m they can. And seeing as a team like WBA get about £3m a year I'd guess our going rate would be around or just below that if we went up, so we'd still be better off with King Power, even if they agreed to £5m. Technically they couldn't. They could probably get away with paying a touch over the odds (say, if we became an establish Prem team they could get away with £5-10 million, based on the £3 million a year West Brom are getting from Zoopla for example) but if they could, and they wanted to, they couldn't pay £100 million a year. 4. Fair Value UEFA are aware that owners of clubs could look to inflate a club’s profitability by injecting funds into clubs via artificially inflated commercial deals. Paris St-Germain recently announced a huge sponsorship deal via a body that is connected to the club owners. For this reason UEFA FFP rules require any transaction from a ‘related part’ (i.e. a company or body connected to the club owners) to be assessed to ensure it was a genuine transaction at a ‘fair value’. UEFA has the power to adjust any artificial ‘mates rates’ deals and apply a lower value to the Break Even calculation. This assessment will be carried out by the CFCB panel (see below). http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/financial-fair-play-explained.php
Samilktray Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 And have a template shirt? No thank you.A template that's well designed and good quality.
Monk Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I disagree that the sole purpose of owning the club is to push the king power brand. They could do that a LOT cheaper without owning a football club. I imagine the club have had plans for what they will do upon promotion for some time now - and I would expect us to probably get a shirt sponsor from a connected company - Air Asia for example. It's too good a commercial opportunity to pass up. Hope everyone is ready for inflated ticket prices too!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 A template that's well designed and good quality. Good quality eh...
hackneyfox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 You got no chance. Ok I'll ask this one last time as no one seems to answer it. How much do our owners pay to put there name on our shirts and the ground? That is one reason I do not trust our owners. No one comes up with a figure cos none show. Do you have other reasons not to trust the owners? Can you explain why no figure showing for ground/shirt sponsorship means you don't trust the owners?
