Shirt Sponsor

After hearing about Arsenals new shirt Sponser deal being worth £30m a season do you think that our owners would benefit from finding a new shirt Sponser for next season and also wouldn't it help generate cash for the FFP rules

King Power will remain as our sponsor no way would our Thai owners change it.

Do King Power actually do any business in the UK apart from obviously LCFC.

I've never seen anything, seems kind of pointless to me

Yep, doesnt make a huge difference changing it tbf.

The whole intention of their ownership is to give the King Power brand worldwide exposure so no chance would they sell it off with the audience that watches the PL.

We are basically made to be a massive billboard for King Power in the Premier League, so probably not.

Their new "sponsorship" deal worth £150m over 5 years is actually Puma manufacturing the kit. Arsenal will still be sponsored by Fly Emirates, obviously they get shit loads for that, but their a huge team who play not only in the Premier League but the Champions league too. If we got their level we could be demanding that kind of money, but right now even teams like WBA are only picking up about £3m a year from Zoopla. What being sponsored by King Power does is allow us to be paid what we want, in the same way Man City are by Etihad, so we're actually in a better financial position having them as a sponsor.

No it does not all sponsorship deals have to be set out  as a legal binding contract.

So if KP agreed 3mill a year for shirt and ground that is all they can pay.

That is set up so no club like us could use it to print money to get round FFP.

The reason our owners have converted 100mil into shares.

What I mean is if King Power agreed in the next contract to pay is £100m a season, they can. If we went to an outside company, like Zoopla, we'd get the going rate for a club our size.

This.

Infact if/when we do get in the PL I can even see them buying into UK and/or European airport duty free market.

Maybe buy up the hotel opposite the stadium.

I think you will see the King Power brand expand if/when we reach the PL.

And fair play to them.

You got no chance.

Ok I'll ask this one last time as no one seems to answer it.

How much do our owners pay to put there name on our shirts and the ground?

That is one reason I do not trust our owners.

No one comes up with a figure cos none show.

I was speaking hypothetically! Jesus! Talk about highlighting one part of a post to disprove something. IF they want to pay £100m they can. IF they want to pay £50m they can. IF they want to pay £10m they can. And seeing as a team like WBA get about £3m a year I'd guess our going rate would be around or just below that if we went up, so we'd still be better off with King Power, even if they agreed to £5m.

My point being nothing shows on the accounts so they pay fvck all.

I pray for the day we strike a deal with Nike. I may actually then be able to wear a Leicester shirt.

We'd just get a boring template with Nike.

The same with Adidas and Puma.

Forget the sponsor, lets get the kit actually looking half decent for once.

Nothing wrong with this season's. Last bad kit was the Topps Tiles one I think.
