The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 February 2014 Author Posted 13 February 2014 Can't believe I've seen people moan that they're gonna be alone on valentines. Shallow as anything. Plenty of people in the world can't celebrate birthdays and Christmas with loved ones, people are without mums and dads on Mothers/Father's Day yet some people have the audacity to moan about being single on February the 14th. I'm looking forward to it. Its saving me a fortune Unfortunately most of the lads have other halfs else I'd be pushing for a heavy night out somewhere as all the birds out are bound to be single. As it is I'm now working Saturday

Captain... Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 I don't see the point in Valentines Day. Does it require one day of the year to be extra special and nice to your other half? Do we need Christmas day? Mother's Day, Father's day? Birthdays, anniversaries,? Why don't we buy presents and do something special for everyone in our lives each and every day? I'm no big fan of the commercialisation of Valentine's day, and I'm not going to spend a fortune on a dozen red roses or any of that crap, but I get the point, it is a day just to remember what you have, to remember how lucky you are to have someone special in your life, and remind you to tell them, maybe make a fuss of them, cook them a nice meal and have a glass of wine. You don't have to do anything special or go anywhere special to make someone feel special, and then, if you really do it right, you might even get a blow job out of it. And to all of you singletons out there, go out and get some, easiest night of the year to pull.
JonnyBoy Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 i have a girlfriend and i think Valentines day is the most jumped up commercial tripe there is going. Will be getting the valentines meal offer at waitrose and splitting the price. will get her a card and box of chocolates too, but not a fan of valentines at all some people go mental for it, i don't understand
Guest MattP Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 And to all of you singletons out there, go out and get some, easiest night of the year to pull. Not been out on it for a while but used to be absolutely brilliant in the late 90's. My mate even won £500 worth of holiday vouchers in Creation just for getting on a stage pissed playing blind date, put it towards the cost of all the lads trip to Kavos in the summer.
Bayfox Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 I can only assume all the haters on here will on Christmas 2014 not spend a penny on presents and spend christmas eve at midnight mass.
