Corky Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Yes. Any team can beat any team. Correct? Which is no different to a lot of leagues.
Callabinho Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Mentioned it to my mate who is a united fan (one who actually lives in manchester) he said he's filling up his car as we speak, where should he drop him off?
Hugo Sanchez Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Which is no different to a lot of leagues. Except the German league.
FoxInTheBox89 Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Which is no different to a lot of leagues. Last season Peterborough got relegated. They did the double over Cardiff who were champions by a long long way. Where else has that happened?
Manchesterred Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 Cleverley is a fantastically gifted player who unfortunately will probably never be able to let that shine at Manchester Utd or even if that chance could happen it would be years away from being so. The lad is only young and he's practically been asked single handedly to repair that wretched corpse of a midfield that Sir Alex has left to die over the last 5 years, at Manchester United. One of the most scrutinised clubs ever from all walks of life and he's supposed to fix that midfield hole that's been blatantly getting bigger for at least 10 years? During the clubs most biggest upheaval and change for a quarter of a century? I think the lad obviously lacks confidence from all the pressure around him and therefore unable to play his natural uninhibited way. He really needs a Nige hug from the looks of things. A gaffer that can give him the confidence and man management he needs to bring him out of his shell. A "knocky" tunnel moment and obviously Moyes being at his first time is overwhelmed too, it appears. I do rate Cleverley but I can see him play differently to Drinkwater. I don't know if he along with DD and James played together in the UTD youth teams but I'd assume they know each others styles of play, if not actual styles, I'd assume that a midfield of all 3 playing together and in form with some Nige love would get raves everywhere. James' all round dynamism and hussle, Drinkwater's tempo and dictation play and Cleverley's flair and skill. Now I'm going to have to go cool off... I'm a big united fan, go both home and away! Might even supprise you that I'm from Manchester. I'also travel the country to watch the u21s and youth team. Several seasons ago, I'm talking maybee 4 or 5... The 21s featured a 5 man midfield featuring drinky Clevz and James in the middle. What a pleasure it was to pay my money to watch. All three complimented each other perfectly. If I remember rightly they won 19 games on the bounce only conceding 3 goals. And it may supprise u that Matty James was the attacking 1 of the 3 scoring 25-30 yard screamers week in week out. I would love to see that same midfield in the prem as I'm pretty certain it would dominate a lot of teams in the prem.(at the moment including utd) it's been great to watch Leicester play this last few months already looking like a premiership side. I hope the good work continues and look forward to seeing u at old Trafford next season.

Guest Col city fan Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 At present... Drinkwater. Genuinely believe that. Every time I've seen Cleverley play this season he's actually been piss poor. We do need to start a new thread though for dmayne so that we can compare King with Yaya Youre..

We do need to start a new thread though for dmayne so that we can compare King with Yaya Youre.. Na, don't be silly. He's much more like Lampard and obviously much, much better and achieved more than that England 'legend' ever could dream of... Maybe you should have compared Yaya with JET back in the day seeing as he was, in your eyes, a defensive midfielder
cityfanlee23 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Drinkwater for England!!!! Quality today, Can anybody think of any better songs for him? Whoah danny danny is OK, But it's so bloody fast the noise levels compensate, Need something short and sharp to belt down to the pitch
