keep going, that new tomb raider trilogy is one of my favourite series. i replay it often, first one is showing its age and it probably the worst of the 3 but it gets better

Currently trying to find every single last bit of content in God of War Ragnorok.  Superb game.

 

The area north of Vanaheim is massive despite not tying in too directly with the main storyline.  Incredible amount of detail in this game that just keeps on giving.  Big improvement on GoW 2018, and feels/plays like a GoW game to boot.  

 

Need to start Jedi Survivor and Dragon Age but not until I've done this.

Couple of hours into Avowed. Unsure on it so far but its opened up now so going to give it a few more hours then decide if its worth carrying on with.

So I have God of War Ragnarok almost beaten for the platinum run but I'm stuck on the final berserker boss Skjothendi before Hrolf and Gna.

 

I've maxed out to level 9 and the guy is causing problems.  Any tips?  Any references to Dark Souls are not permitted

Now I'm stuck at Hrolf.  This game is starting to test my patience!  Why are the side bosses so much harder than the main game?  Annoying!

Finished Dragon Age the Veilguard. 64 hours platinum trophy achieved. 1 play through can achieve platinum but I did have to replay the final mission to get the secret ending.

 

I was conscious of the woke non binary stuff that people slagged the game off for. Taash is the character who is non binary and when she joined the team I thought here we go. 

 

It really isn't shoved into your face as much as some reported. She's actually quite a funny character so the pronoun stuff you just go with it. Don't let the negative publicity stop you from playing the game. I really enjoyed it. Story is decent, combat is fun, likeable characters 

 

Not better than Inquisition but all in all a decent game which now it's free on PS Plus you can't go wrong giving it a go

I am planning on starting this next although I'm struggling with Hrolf on GoW Ragnorok.  Twice in a row now I've had him down to half of his last health bar and still can't quite do him.  I doubt Gna will be any easier either

 

I have everything else done, maxed out all weapons and armour sets which should see me through this but still no luck.  Bloody difficult even on the easiest difficulty!

Finally beaten Gna and platinum done on GoW Ragnarok.  52 hours.  I think this is the most satisfying platinum I've done.  Took a hell of an effort at the end but perseverance and a little bit of luck helped see this one over the line.

 

On to the next!

This is where I'm at too. Feel eerily the same way. Wasn't really thinking it was all that interesting at the beginning but now I've moved on out of Dawnshore/Paradis I've got more invested.

This game has caught me by surprise.  6 hours in now and enjoying it.  The soundtrack is great.  Liking the 80s synth stuff, feels old school.

I bought it over the weekend , I’ve put in about 7 hours and I’m loving it so far. Really fun game and it looks stunning.

Yes, it looks pretty good from what I've seen, especially on the pro.  The immersion setting sounds good too.

 

Meanwhile I'll continue with DA Veilguard.  I find something to do and then something else turns up and I detour somewhere else.  Game is big.  Almost at 30 hours and I've only just got past the Treviso decision.

Review from a reviewer I generally trust described it as basically a good Assassins Creed game but still just an Assassins Creed game. 

 

Basically Ubisoft as ever trying absolutely **** all new. But a tidy version of it's formula.

So ive moved back onto my Switch. Found myself playing PS still stupid o'clock and eating too many snacks. Getting to fat for my liking. So ive started getting up early and going out for long walks. Which has now meant i am too tired to play on PS late at night. I havent touched it in 2 weeks. 

 

So i have found myself jumping back onto the Switch. For just some quick pick up and play games. Im currently playing Mario and Luigi Brothership. Always loved the turn based Mario games. Paper Mario especially. Nice to get back onto the Switch again. Such a great console

I went with saving Treviso as I don't care much for Neve as a character.  Lucanis on the other hand is far more interesting.  

 

I then read back some reddit comments about blocking progress to the platinum for saving Treviso as it locks you out of the Shadows faction shop to gain points but it seems possible to work around this in the crossroads(?) I think.

 

I'll worry about it when I've exhausted all the quests.  I don't want to miss anything major and then struggle to find a way back to do everything to 100% so I'm taking my time.  Currently at 30 hours of game time on this too.  Can't see it taking less than 60 to platinum.
