Genuine question, why are you doing it?

It's more doable than Fallen Order although the map collectables on Koboh look worse than on any AC map.

I'm not giving up on three in a row either since I did Ragnorok and DragonAge Veilguard before this.

But yes, it's a crazy thing to do.  Not Demon Souls levels of difficulty crazy, but time consuming nonetheless.

But do you enjoy it?

Still playing Expedition 33. Some of the hype around the game is way over the top. Dont get me wrong im really enjoying it but ive seen multiple reports of 'Greatest RPG ever' and 'Better than any Final Fantasy game ever'. Actually laughable

Everything in the game is done well. Im not complaining about the game itself, more the overreaction to it.

One element they have done really well is the Parry and Dodge system. You cant just powerhouse through the game. There are consequences to missing parries and dodges. You also get a real satisfaction when you manage a counter attack.

It's the least enjoyable of the three.

DA Veilguard was the perfect platinum.  Everything in place as the final credits roll.

Jedi Survivor is the exact opposite.  The collectibles can't be grabbed until all skills gained and that basically takes you to the end game before finishing off the side content.  Koboh is a chore, the other areas are ok to clear.

Thoughts?

Better than Oblivion for me.

  • Exploration is amazing, so much to find and see
  • Story telling and atmosphere is next level
  • Dark and brooding
  • Does of course lack the polish Bethesda can provide.
  • Music is also excellent!
  • Voice acting fantastic
  • Personally like the combat, but some mixed opinions
  • Bit of a throwback, but in a good way

  • Thanks 1

Just when I've had no crashes on Jedi Survivor in over 40 hours, I just get one and I've lost almost 3 hours of time as it has automatically reverted to a previous save.  Theres no option to bring back the later save

Now I've got to clear those underground caverns a second time!

At over 96% completion on Koboh, less than 10 trophies to go and this is now testing my patience!

@Lako42no, I'm not enjoying it!  lol

I keep finding myself putting hours into Balatro. Such a simple game but so easy to play. No run is the same so it never gets boring.

Now i see why it was nominated GOTY last year. Its a perfect game for the Switch. Just pick up and play instantly

I finally have 100% on all maps across Jedi Survivor, yet I am still missing an unmarked force tear.

Having looked it up to save more hours of searching everywhere again, it's an agility based challenge.  My favourite...lol

Beyond that, two shards remaining and a few bounties to do.

This game is ridiculous to fully finish.  It's a test of resilience and patience.

Is anyone does play Tainted Grail, watch out for the Crockmaw, as playing the whole game with one arm is no joke! lol

Was pleasantly surprised Nightreign actually worked at launch last night. Sadly 11pm kick is not the time to get too dug into those games but seemed fun for the hour I stuck in.

Will have a proper go this evening.

I’m playing Expedition 33 and yeah it’s so good. I have played various JRPGS for over 35 years in one form or another and this is right up there.

Theres nothing really new here but the story really draws you in right from the first couple of hours. And the soundtrack, graphics etc are top class.

Finally platinum on Jedi Survivor.  Not enjoyable post game content even if Boba Fett turned up but it's done.

Just downloaded Robocop Rogue City for a laugh.  Cost less than $1.  Another easy platinum run.

Currently Level 80 in Clair Obscure, i know there is a New Game+ but im trying to find everything before i commit to NG+. Found a couple of bosses that are just ridiculous.

Though now i fear once i get the Switch 2 tomorrow then Wind Waker will take over my life once again

Let us know when you face Simon. Hardest by a long way, I could only defeat him with a one shot build.
