If anyone likes prison type games like "The Escapists" there's an awesome game that popped up on gamepass that I'm loving called Back to the Dawn. Can play as two different characters which change the story and gameplay drastically but all the inmates are animals and there's missions and gangs and you can befriend different inmates for certain items or perks.

Well worth a go!

When you say all the inmates are animals do you mean, they're horses, dogs, cats, monkeys, etc, or do you mean, don't bend over in the shower?

There are a couple of questionable characters for sure but no I mean they are ACTUAL animals, it's part of the style they went for :D

RoboCop: Rogue City. Took me a while to get around to it as a massive fan of the first two films (hence the username)

It's pretty janky around the edges but I'm having fun with it. You can tell it's been made with care and the best part about it is how they've absolutely nailed the look and feel of the films.

We've come a long way from when I was playing the near impossible RoboCop game on the NES.

Through the first act of Baldur's Gate 3 for what I would guess (conservatively) is about the fifteenth time, still loving it two years after full release and almost five after early access. Next playthrough will be Honour Mode I think, not usually one for ironman permadeath stuff but I want those sweet sweet golden dice

42.5 hours into Death Stranding 1 and just had my second scrap with Clifford Unger

Spent a lot of this week just grinding metals and ceramics and building roads everywhere, got the route down to South Knot City done and made good progress on the ones to Mountain Knot City

Ended up cracking on with the story and have just rolled credits after about 60 hours

So glad I finally decided to give this game a proper go, it is so good and although I kind of saw it coming I did really like the story all coming together at the end

Really tempted to just jump straight into DS2 but I think it is best if I play one or two other games first

Got Oxygen Not Included on sale and it's quite fun. Although it does almost require an engineering degree! Has lots of similarities to Rimworld, which is only a good thing.

Flash git. I had it on the Commodore 64.

It was a cartridge not a tape however, so my jealousy at those kids that had games that loaded in under 20 minutes didn't apply to that one.

It was so brutally hard. I don't think I ever got past the third or fourth level.

Between that and Battletoads, many controller-throwing tantrums were had.

Wasn't that impossible to complete as it was bugged?

The Turbo Tunnel level was so hard it was basically bugged. No idea about the rest of the game as I never completed it.

Does anyone play old school runescape?

I've been banging on about this game in this thread for ages. Always revisit it.

I've been playing OSRS (and other variants of RS) for almost 20 years.

Still to this day hooked on OSRS. Not because it's nostalgic, but because it's a fvcking good game. It's currently hitting record numbers and is one of the top MMO's in the space.

If you're still playing feel free to PM me your RSN

Ive downloaded that New World Aeturnum. Not played much but it seems like a decent enough game. Will give it some more time and see if it grips me. I need a new RPG in my life.

Also played on COD Warzone a little. My mate told me they have a casual mode. Where its mostly bots and a few real players. Its nice to be able to get some kills and build up your squad ready for final circle. Get to like the top 10 every game now. Much more enjoyable than dying to sweats within 2 minutes.

I played New World on ps5 when it came out for at least 200 hours. The game is solid for an MMO but lacks end game content enough to keep me continually hooked

Seems to be a common issue for those on PC

I gave it a go last night on PS5 for about an hour and had no issues

So far I personally think it just feels like any other battlefield game…

But going to give it more of a go over the weekend

I re-downloaded it through EA Play instead of Steam and it seems to be OK now.

You're right though, it's just battlefield, less the crazy special abilities of 2042. Maps seem a bit better than 2042 too although obviously we've only seen a couple.

Bit hard to judge the gunplay when there's only a handful of guns in it at the moment and they're very mid.

I never really played 2042 so that will probably be why it doesn’t seem much different to me haha

I only played Breakthrough last night and quite liked the map, will be giving Conquest a good go this weekend

The gameplay is broadly OK but if the size and chokepoint-heavy nature of these three maps is representative of what we're getting at launch (and we already know two of the remaining six launch maps are infantry only) then it's probably no deal for me
