Number 6 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 We should use Vardy unless unavailable. Would be foolish to not play him just in case he gets a booking. If he does end up with a ban then we have players who will come in and do a job. It's happened all over the pitch all season.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 The only way vardy will be out of the side is if he Is suspended or injured
dedlock Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 The only way vardy will be out of the side is if he Is suspended or injured I agree. He is in a vein of form at the moment. When teams come to KP leaving 1 up front and everyone behind the ball,,e.g. Watford , Blackpool, Vards game is nullified to an extent. There will not be those tactics away and no reason to drop JV. NP appears to accept the rash tackles and silly bookings as part of Vardy's game.If he is booked again and suspended we 'cross that bridge'.
ousefox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Would not be a problem - Wood could start in any other team in the league bar maybe Burnley.. Or give Phillips 90!
lancyclaret Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Dean Marney has been on 9 yellows for us in the last 2 games. When he was out for 5 games earlier this season, we stuttered a bit with most of those games drawn.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Swear they said on RL last night its if he gets another booking in the next 6 games?? Why 6 games? Can he keep his nose clean til then? Probably not.

Grewks Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Why on earth would you leave him out against Blackburn just to make sure he can play against Burnley? What a load of rubbish! 3 points against Blackburn are in no way inferior to 3 points at Burnley. How about we actually get that 'P' next to our name before we start thinking about 'weakening' our side just so we have a stronger team in a future fixture. I'd take 6 points from the next 9, and couldn't care less whether the defeat comes at Blackburn, Burnley or at home to Yeovil.

Grewks Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 3 points are worth more against Burnley because they're 3 points that 2nd can't get imo How about we learn to walk before we run eh? We can think about the title once we are guaranteed promotion. At that stage the lads will be playing without pressure, but will still have the desire to have champions. Lets face it. We can all see Burnley v Leicester happening with the main story being no Ings and no Vardy, it is inevitable. Given how poor nugent is, wood will have to step up in that game.

Father Ted Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Can't believe people are saying to drop Vardy for Blackburn and Yeovil so that he might not get suspended for Burnley. If he gets suspended, then so be it but we need him to secure 3 points against Blackburn and Yeovil. If he does get suspended have faith in the others to step in.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Bring Waggy back! Trust you to come up with a load of total crap. Twit!
GorlestonFox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Let Pearson decide. This season has filled me with confidence in the man.
Dan Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Absolutely nailed on he gets a silly booking against Yeovil ruling him out of our two hardest games.
Stadt Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 We did ok at Watford without Vardy so I think we'll be alright at Burnley
