Cincinnati Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 After yesterday (silly booking) he is 1 yellow away from 2 match ban
Cincinnati Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Author Posted 16 March 2014 And if it comes against blackburn he is out if burnley and even worse against Yeovil he is out of burnley and wigan We have people who can come in though
Guest Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 It was a dumb yellow and if he gets banned he'll deserve it.
Munshi Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 More than capable back up even though it'd be a big blow. Phillips Wood GTF They can all perform.
Ian W LCFC Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 I'd be tempted to play GTF, he hasn't put a foot wrong in any games he has played in. He started against Millwall and we won.

DennisNedry Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Agree with starting Wood for Blackburn and Yeovil. What would have happened if he'd have got a second yellow and been sent off yesterday? Would he have a one match ban and still be one yellow away from a further 2 match ban? I was wondering yesterday if he should have intentionally got sent off late on yesterday to get rid of the looming ban.
LCFC1996 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 GTF looked good when he came on, on saturday, could easily do a job, same goes for Wood & Phillips

Bert Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 We were just as good without Vardy yesterday. The game didn't suit him as he didn't have the usual space. He's just gonna have to keep a lid on things but it won't be the worst thing if Wood came in for a few games.
Carl the Llama Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Is my memory playing tricks on me? A few are saying it was a silly yellow, but as I remember it he didn't even touch the other player(or if he did it was a brush at most) and the ref made a terrible call?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Vardy is collecting yellows, like he is scoring goals.

He kicked/tripped him as the ball was running out of play Was a yellow 100% Frustration got the better of him I was in sk4 could not have had better view
AKCJ Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 What would have happened if he had got a second booking yesterday? Is that a 1 match ban like a 2 yellow card red usually is?
Banks Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Can't believe people want Wood in the side? Yes he's a great player, I really do rate him. However, Vardy has been brilliant in his last few games. Yes, he wasn't at the races yesterday but he deserves to start. If anyone is to be dropped then I'd drop Nugent instead of Vardy.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 What would have happened if he had got a second booking yesterday? Is that a 1 match ban like a 2 yellow card red usually is? I would imagine he would get the one match ban for the red, and a further two match ban for picking up 10 yellow cards

The only reason we'd drop Vardy is so he can't get suspended for the Burnley/Wigan games!
Danno Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 I don't like Wood at all really. He doesnt offer anywhere near the same as Vardy does.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Keep playing Vardy and whatever happens happens. Wood will come in at some point and I'm sure he will do well for us like at Watford when Vardy got 5 yellows.
The Guvnor Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 He kicked/tripped him as the ball was running out of play Was a yellow 100% Frustration got the better of him I was in sk4 could not have had better view I also had a great vantage point and agree with Everygamefox
Bert Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 I would imagine he would get the one match ban for the red, and a further two match ban for picking up 10 yellow cards2 match ban i would say. 2 bookings is only a 1 match ban. Therefore i think they'd hand out the bigger ban for the two bookings.
