Pics?

Any picture of the Esteban flag, Gary?

I know they've only just sent it but seen loads of pictures of flags they've done and didn't know if they'd send a picture before sending it out.

No pics mate,but that would be a good idea if they did that.

Like Tom said we'll set you up some hooks on Saturday morning.We can leave the flag up or meet you and hand it over so you can drop it on yourself.I'd do that personally as it's you're flag and you should be the first to show it off haha.

Leicester City fans will show their support for the club on Saturday when they hoist more than 7,000 pieces of card into the air creating a giant image of a fox.

The stunt has been arranged by supporters' club, Union FS, which has paid more than £600 for a dutch firm to print out the design.

Known as 'fan choreography' or 'Tifo', the practice is carried out by clubs all over Europe, but remains a rarity in the UK.

It involves supporters lifting thousands of small panels simultaneously to create a picture in the stands.

 

The feat will take place as Leicester walk out of the tunnel before Saturday's lunchtime game against Newcastle at the King Power stadium.

Organiser and Union FS chairman James Challinor said: "We've done this for a few reasons, really.

"The first is as simple as to show our support for the Club.

"We hope that as the players walk out, it will give them a little more motivation, perhaps giving them the edge in another vital game.

"We hope it will give the crowd a bit more bite too.

"Often early kick-offs can be drab affairs so we are hoping it will lift the whole stadium."

The group mapped out each seat in the south stand and calculated how many pieces of foil would be needed to create an image.

They concluded it would take more than 7,000 individual pieces to make the picture - which they decided should be a fox.

James, 24, said: "The middle block of the south stand looks conveniently like a fox's head which gave us a steer!

"We've got plenty of ideas in the pipeline for future fan choreography events, but this seemed like a relatively simple design to start with, and should give us a bit of confidence to put together a more sophisticated Tifo next time."

Union FS is a relatively new supporters club established in 2013.

With 30 active members and 100 people on its mailing list, the group is hoping the Tifo stunt will raise its profile and help attract more members.

James said: "We've built a strong relationship with the club and we're now growing fairly rapidly as a group.

"Our overarching ambition is to improve the atmosphere throughout the stadium and we feel as though we are making great strides in that respect!"

Fans in the south stand (SK1 to SK4) are requested to be in their seats 15 minutes before kick off to take part and ensure that the display is as impressive as possible.

Sol .... Thanks for sorting my new flag ... Just had a word with Gaz about another idea so heading your way again mate!

Buy him a beer tomorrow, he's on his way up right now with Basingstoke Fox. I on the other hand have a 5-45 start in the morning. Bloody football!

Right, I've been inspired by the work of others so I've come up with some of my designs. Let me know what you think, don't be afraid to say you're not keen on one if that's your opinion. I want SK1 to look as good as it can if I do go ahead and get one of these made.

Like the 102 one. Is the we're all on our own one a part of that same flag? Can't see it that well on my phone.
