A thanks to the owners and management of LCFC

They had a chance to change manager this time last year and for whatever reason, be it financial or belief in ability, they decided to stick with Pearson and this squad. It's paid off for them. You can question some things that have happened in the past but the professional way the club has gone about things this season makes promotion even better. No grand statements, no desperate attempts to be seen as a "real fan", just sitting in the background and letting the manager get on with his job.

Praise to the staff too...the ticket office folk, cleaners, shop assistants, corporAte sales...etc...all have done their but in some pretty crappy times for us.

Owners deserve much praise. Sterling work in the boardroom from them has helped the club since they arrived. I hope they enjoy next year as much as we do.

Huge round of applause for them on tuesday please. they've ended 10 years of painful memories and unwanted roller coaster rides. We're a different club now, a different Leicester city. Future is bright, very bright.

There will still be the small deluded minority finding reasons to hate....

Ooooohhhhhh,

Thank you Top and Vichai, we're glad you're Leicester fans,

We plan to visit Thailand and top up all our tans,

We're glad you stuck by Pearson, a decision that was right,

And now we're in the Premier League, you should both become a Knight

Thai Knights, some how Can't see the Queen doing that, but maybe the Keys to the city of Leicester?

What a great organisation we have to follow as fans.  Not so long ago we had Mandaric changing managers as often as his undies and then he did us the best thing he could of done and sold to King Power.

I was speaking to someone a couple of months back who has worked at the club a good few years. They told me that they were good to work for, really know their business and are good people who are here for the long haul. I think what has really impressed me though, apart from their foresight to keep hold of Pearson when others would have got twitchy, is their investment right throughout the club. It really makes you feel that they take this extremely seriously and intend for us to remain in the premier league and taste success while having the structure in place to make us a strong and stable club for the future.

Vlad,  That is great to hear. it confirms what is clear to see that the organisation is working well in all aspects.  Seems little complaints from the fans about issues other than the performance on the field so when no one has reason to complain would suggest that you have a happy and productive company.

The fact that the on field performance is as it is and the club is functioning so well, gives hope that the Owners and management are ready for the challenge of the Premier League

It is clear that Pearson and his organisation is ready for what lays ahead but it is just as important that the back office is as well.  it takes all parts of an organisation to be successful.

We are very lucky fans to not have to worry about the club in anyway.

Long Live the current group of leaders and staff at LCFC.

I was critical of the owners when sacking Sven as soon as they did at the time, following a patch of indifferent form with a team that simply hadn't gelled together by then - this after a hive of transfer activity and big spending in Summer 2011. However that was the only time I have been so. To redress the balance, their re-appointing Pearson and backroom staff to the club when they did (by successfully prising Pearson away from Hull with an offer he couldn't refuse) was a masterstroke now, looking back. Pearson was clearly keen to return here to complete a job he hadn't really been afforded the opportunity to do after the reported furore with Mandaric concerning his contract after the 2010 play offs defeat to Cardiff and the joke appointment that was Sousa.

Again, to underline their wisdom. then they could have easily sacked Pearson during our disastrous win-less run during this time last year but didn't. That would've been the action of so many modern day club owners - as so happened at Forest with B.Davies recently of course. While I suppose it really was a case of 'what might have beens' had we not jumped into the play offs frame last season with the last kick at Forest, fate had it that we did and that the owners thought it best to persevere with Pearson and staff....something which has since paid dividends no less!
