Deucalion Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Just a quick thought before I go to work, and it involves the disgraceful scenes of people trying to get on the pitch last night. Luckily the security forces ensured there was no chance of this happening, with police who looked they were borrowed from Putin lining the pitch. The powers that be had ensured that all stands likely to go on the pitch were well covered. Good job for peace and law and order that no-one had remembered Newcastle back in the day, where some so called fans infiltrated the West Stand so the invasion came from a direction the club had not anticipated, and therefore other stands were able to get on in the confusion and the club could never have handed out 1 year bans to the amount of fans who ended up on the pitch. Anyone thinking of going on the pitch against Doncaster...shame on you. I just hope no-one remembers the formula to achieve it.
Aus Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 If you think what happened against Newcastle and what would happen last night or against Donny are the same thing, you need to take a long hard look at yourself. I was there about 10 years old against Newcastle, chairs being ripped up and people going crazy. This would be a celebration and nothing to do with violence or opposition fans. Possibly the worst thread I've ever read on FT.

If anyone needs to look in a mirror it is you two, but first you will have extract your heads from your posteriors.
Munshi Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Hahaha, this whole on the pitch or not thing is becoming a little bit silly isn't it.
Deucalion Posted 9 April 2014 Author Posted 9 April 2014 I went on the pitch against Newcastle, and against Swindon the first game of the same season for the record, just for a 'laff'. I didn't get involved in any violence, although I am very well aware some bad things went on. I'm a bit old for these type of shenanigans these days, but if anyone is determined to, and if it is good natured I don't particularly have a problem with it, then they are not going to manage it from routes which are entirely predictable.
lev72 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Did any of them watford twats who came on the pitch in their hundreds get fvcking bans?? Doubt it as they were "enjoying the moment"
lgfualol Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 There's talk the club are bringing in the army to deter pitch invaders after the Doncaster game
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 If there's a pitch invasion it will only spoil the potential trophy presentation and our mutual love-in with the players parading around the pitch. Stay off and enjoy it from the stands, and allow everyone to join in. Thats my opinion anyway.
Kitchandro Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Terrible thread. Nobody even cares anymore. Just stop talking about pitch invasions and get off your high horse.
broughtonblue Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Sometimes you have to read in between the lines Exactly what I thought, more of a plan!
