leicesterseddon Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 No, it's not time to build up the stadium. Not unless the club are planning to reduce ticket prices by 60% or something. But even then it's debatable whether our crowds would grow enough to justify going through the rigmarole of building extra capacity
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Like rusty flaking paint falling on your head, tiny overflowing toilets and stands the size of a bike shed? Was thinking more of a bit of character
80footgiraffe Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 I'd love a museum, and the elephants on the roof would be cool, if a bit cov
Webbo Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Not forgetting the rainwater leaking through the roof. And craning your neck around a post to see the pitch.
promised land Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Like it's been said before , forget about extending , sort out what we've got first , ground needs a good clean up , painting etc also get rid of the faded advertising on the outside . Bring back the Gary Lineker poster thingy on the corner of the family, Upton stands. Still miss that every time I walk by.
Langston Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 I'd rather we made little alterations / spruced the place up a little before we think about increasing capacity. Having to stand in other people's piss might be acceptable in Fan Club but it's not what I want at the football.
Hollism Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Not being funny but wonder if the owners would consider turning KP into a leisure village with hotels, casino etc... but I suppose space maybe at a premium around the stadium??? It's probably too late for that. When the Ricoh was built, they put the casino underneath the stadium
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Come on let's build on this success (pun intended )
