4ever and ever Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 http://the72.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/average-attendances-champio.png Pretty good effort from the away support. Only Leeds bettered us this season and good to sneak ahead of Forest!
Fox92 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Saw this Facebook's away days page. Proud of us coming second, but very pleased all three East Midlands clubs made the top five.
MattGamble92 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I've always felt hard done by on this the last few seasons, because some potentially really big away games have been moved for tv or a tuesday nights. I know you could argue its the same for everyone but i think its been worse for us. Great effort for us to come 2nd this season despite the fact everyone will point at our league position.

I agree, we had Sheff Wed on Tuesday night, BIrmingham tuesday night (even though they restricted our following), Reading on TV on monday night which could have been much bigger. Bolton on the Tuesday night would have been a sell out too.
C-man Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Some of Charlton's numbers are absolutely atrocious. At least Blackpool, Millwall and Yeovil are consistently shit.
Gary Eatfood Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Lowest attendance I can see is Wigan, a total 145 of them made it to Millwall. I'd rather have Derby or Brighton in the Premier than them.
Dan Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Only 10 of our away games were Saturday 3pm. I'd love to know how many of the others' were.
billyn88 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 If it wasn't for the Huddersfield turnout, I'd have been to both the worst and best attended away day this season. With average performance (over the course of a season) and ticket prices/distance/not on TV, I'd expect us to take about 1600 to any one game so that's a good uplift.
ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 only 2 teams brought over 2k to us. best difference i reckon is what burnley brought to us and what we took to them .
Dan Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Only two sides brought 2k or more to us only 2 teams brought over 2k to us. best difference i reckon is what burnley brought to us and what we took to them . No way
ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Only two sides brought 2k or more to us No way copy my post why don't you i always look to see who brings what to us, some very bad ones in there. burnley, qpr, wigan, reading and brighton all bringing less than a thousand. either we really rip fans off and they hate our ground or most just can't be arsed.
Kitchandro Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Good, and where we should be really after this season. Where were we at home? Anything lower than 4th would be a disappointment.
Corky Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Good, and where we should be really after this season. Where were we at home? Anything lower than 4th would be a disappointment. Third, behind Brighton and Leeds.
4ever and ever Posted 7 May 2014 Author Posted 7 May 2014 Good, and where we should be really after this season. Where were we at home? Anything lower than 4th would be a disappointment. We are 3rd in the home rankings. Brighton top and we were just behind leeds!! http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalAttendance/0,,10794~20137,00.html
NewburyFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Considering how easy it is to get to Leicester, I think we can put a lot of the blame on a) ticket prices, and b) the fact that we were on sky a lot at home. Although to be fair many teams wouldn't have brought 2k anyway.
4ever and ever Posted 7 May 2014 Author Posted 7 May 2014 The poor followings of teams coming to our place probably cost us 2nd spot in the home rankings.

We rip fans off and a lot of them will have been here a few times. Of those only Wigan was a Saturday 3pm. Reading was boxing day. Considering how easy it is to get to Leicester, I think we can put a lot of the blame on a) ticket prices, and b) the fact that we were on sky a lot at home. Although to be fair many teams wouldn't have brought 2k anyway. The fact we're very good at home will put a few off too IMO. The poor followings of teams coming to our place probably cost us 2nd spot in the home rankings. Not really as the followings at Leeds are horrendous.

jammie82uk Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Derby to Leicester 1252 Was it this or the cup game where derby gave the first 1000 fans free travel
Maybes Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Derbys away support is shite. Like others have said ours would have been better if we didn't get messed around with KO times and Sky TV.

Brighton top and we were just behind leeds!! http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalAttendance/0,,10794~20137,00.html Cheers lads. I knew Brighton would be top and I can take us being behind Leeds. As long as we're ahead of Forest and Derby!
MattGamble92 Posted 10 July 2014 Posted 10 July 2014 Why is it that now all the away tables circulating around twitter and facebook are putting Forest ahead of us?
