It's far too loud and Jersey Budd's version of WYS is quite laboured and not conducive to producing a sing along. I remember back at Filbert Street when the tannoy was that crap that the fans were able to create an atmosphere. It was something to look forward too, getting to the ground early, taking it all in and building an atmosphere towards kick off. If we want to sing our "anthem" pre-game then we need to find a suitable version that we can all sing along to and scrap the Jersey Budd version. Jersey Budd changed the way he sung it and it's no good we have only just got rid of Danns certainly dont wont him back to sing before the games.

Fair enough pal I get what your trying to say but you did sound a tad like her manager for a minute..I'm sure Arsenal come out to an original Elvis song so id love us to have Frank or Dean before kick off.But pigs would have to start flying for that to happen.

Jezza59 Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 What about Coldplay;' Sky Full of Stars'.Contemporary, upbeat, with an anthem sound and has the line; 'you light up the park' ( I think, but could be singing 'path'! ) Or a song by Kasabian, but please let's ditch 'Hey Jude' .It will be particularly embarrassing to hear that when we play Liverpool and Everton. Alternatively, just have the Post Horn Gallop like we do now and leave the singing to the fans.
