heard liverpool "agree" a fee to sign benzema...? 38 million apparently. dunno how true it is but that's what's going round here.

I would be like a dog with two nobs if that was true mate, he'll come score a trick v us in the Champions League and think ''I ain't joining that shite, Lovren and Skrtel lmao''

when i saw this thread as most recently posted in i assumed it'd be all about this rumour, three different people have told me it in work this morning but nothing on here and it's not trending on twitter or on any reputable sites i can see on the net. odd they'd have all heard it from the same bullshitter though so could be something in it. agreed to be happening in january for 38 million is what i was told. wait and see i guess!

Come from the Metro mate.

If he wants England though Sam then Liverpool are the only club you would think..

And don't think Real wouldn't sweeten us up in their pursuit of Raheem.

Yanited would probably chuck £80milliom at Real for him.

I've always thought that Benzema would flop in England.

Never seems to have the right work rate. However, if anyone could get him to run about then it looks like Rodgers could. How he's done it with Mario i'll never know.

The one that everyone over here missed out on was Higuain for 20m. That was an absolute steal though...

Come from the Metro mate.

... according to the metro from a couple of days ago, you're interested in him.

However, until Liverpool patch up their defence they'll never win the league or get anywhere in the Champions League. Might be enough to scrape 4th but this awful start of their's is really making that look like a mountain of a challenge.

I know that the situation isn't really comparable because they lost Suarez, but Liverpool needed to stop the leaks in their defence and they haven't whereas Chelsea needed to add goals to their side and they have.

Chelsea are, and will for some time, be the benchmark. Could even see them as outsiders for the Champions League.

Nice to be back to winning ways, great goal from Lallana, he is an absolute baller.

Horrenderson again proving why he is just as important as anyone in our side, and again proving why he is one of the best English central midfielders in the Premier League. A few more goals a season and he would be recognised even more.

If Chelsea somehow don't win the league then their is something really wrong.

Yeah we have missed him and Joe Allen, massively. Since their departure we haven't won a League game, not played the diamond and have played a system that doesn't work with our kind of players.

Sturridge returning should mean Markovic will leave the side and return with a side looking like this..

Mignolet

Manquillo -- Skrtel -- Lovren -- Moreno

Gerrard

Henderson -- Lallana

Sterling

Balotelli -- Sturridge

Huge improvement already, and gives more depth from the bench, especially when Johnson, Allen and Sakho comeback into the side. If we have to play 4-3-3 again I would really like us to play Enrique LB and then Moreno as the LW.

Hang on, I'm confused. Six months ago you were so certain that Lallana being "at the same level" as Coutinho was "absurd" that we had a really tedious two page argument about it and now, not only is it not "absurd", but you've got him in your team ahead of Coutinho?

That is quite the turn around. I can't think what could possibly have changed in Lallana's circumstances to make you change your mind...

6 months is a long time, players can drop in form and players can improve within 6 months, I would never had had Lallana at the tip of the diamond ahead of Sterling, so it's a shootout between Lallana, Coutinho and Allen for the midfield spot, right now Lallana is performing better than the other two.

Seriously, you're bringing something up from 6 months ago. lol

Yeah 6 months is such a huge amount of time in which players talent levels change massively. Either that or you were just wrong.

No, I still believe Coutinho is a gifted footballer, on his day I still do think he is better than Lallana, Coutinho is only 22 years old! Back in the Brazil squad and has the world at his feet, I believe anyway.

Lallana can play deeper than Coutinho, at a more consistent level, for Coutinho to get into Liverpool's best possible side he has to be performing better than Sterling at the tip of the diamond, is he doing that? No. Only way I can see Coutinho playing that role is if Rodgers goes with Sterling and Sturridge upfront and leaves Balotelli on the bench.

Shock you're back in this thread GingerFox now your beloved Man United are back in the top 4? lol Embarrassing.

I was in this thread whilst you were absent giving it big bollocks about how shite Liverpool have been so I've never been away. You'll need to take a big break from here if Leicester beat you, you won't live that one down with me.

Why? You're not a Leicester fan, you support Man United?

Apparently in your fantasy world, however in reality I'm just a Leicester fan that can't stand Liverpool and has a slight man crush on Paul Scholes.

So you're a closet Man United fan, ginger and you are gay?

Wow, your life is at rock bottom.

Sticks and stones and all that. I enjoy being ginger. Also I'm not homosexual, nothing wrong with you being gay though, quite brave of you to put it out there like that, but still you'll have to get your arse seen to by someone else.

Cool story bro.

Now remove your Paul Scholes Ginger Gayness out of my thread.

I really thought you were going to admit you were wrong.

Never mind, at least we won't be arguing about it any more.

What's wrong with being gay?

Nothing. Just highlighting the point, it's the being a closet Man United fan that has done me.

Come on pal your better than resorting to stuff like this.

Nah mate, if he wants to keep coming in here trying to argue with me and mock Liverpool then he can have it back.

If you had a dislike for Liverpool as much as this clown clearly does, would you go into a thread where this a fan of that club talking about them and generally bigging them up? No, you wouldn't.
