Balotelli's performance today was one of the worse individual performances I have ever seen.

I'm not sure if he takes the game seriously, his concentration levels are appalling lol.

I did think Liverpool made a mistake in signing him, just doesn't look bothered.

how great was that last 2 minutes though. redknapp's delight at 2-2, 30 seconds later could win it 3-2, could just keep the ball for 30 seconds and take a well deserved 2-2. but no something special from qpr to decide to send neither centre back forward, yet still lump the ball into the box to nobody, and still not have enough people back in positions to stop a counter attack. so amazingly wrong and bad but just fantastic. god i love football. and qpr losing.

People thought they'd finish higher than us, mostly because of their "premiership experience" experience in losing?

This.

Wonder what he's 'earning' per week?

The Liverpool fans must be a tad embarrassed?

lol

Anyone watching the premier league this week would think it was a right shit league

They wouldn't be far away. Lets be fair, it looks like Chelsea are going to walk the league. Even Manchester City don't look that good defensively imo. Those two will finish first and second, no doubt about it, and the rest of the big teams just fight for any position between third and seventh.

No idea how Balotelli keeps getting a start, he doesn't even look like scoring. It must be so frustrating seeing his reaction after he dribbles into a man or blazes a sitter over. It's criminal the amount he must be earning to keep fit.

3 points is 3 points..

We are playing absolutely shit and are 2 points ahead of Arsenal. lol

Man United's hardest opponents on paper so far this season have been Everton, and if they do beat West Brom tonight will still only be 1 point ahead of us, with them playing Chelsea on Sunday.

If it wasn't for Jagielka's complete fluke of a worldie we would be 4th on 15 points, so for saying how shit we have been (which is the truth we have) it isn't all doom and gloom really is it? Especially when our best striker is injured and we have only had our best side out once this season.

You looked a lot better when Coutinho and Allen came on, could have coincided with QPR tiring though. I couldn't believe the state of your team's passing/distribution yesterday, Lovren looked like a 16 year old making his pro debut when he was on the ball haha. The sooner you get Sturridge back in and leading the line and Allen/Coutinho involved the better.

Below City and Chelsea it'll be quite an entertaining tussle, can see Everton getting back into the mix now they have half their first team back as well. Good to see Barkley back playing football.

Ross Barkley really is a gem of a footballer. Gifted. People used to compare Wilshire to Gazza, for me Barkley is the only person who can be compared to him.

Yeah, we really are missing the diamond which benefits us so much more, I was in this thread a week or two ago saying how important Joe Allen is to our game now. The game passed Can yesterday, you could see that was his first Premier League start. Lovren needs a break, not up to it yet, I would like us to play Skrtel and Sakho. Selling Agger looks even worse now!

For saying how poor we were yesterday, we actually created a fair few chances. QPR deserved at least a point but when you don't take your chances in the Premier League then 9/10 you won't win.

Glen Johnson's tackle on Sandro.. lol

SUPER SOLIHULL AS WELL PAL!

Genuinely thought sky were going to show Sandro's tackle at one point, the amount of times he kept checking that scrape on his hip haha.

Yeah saw the Solihull score, was made up. Had a decent wedge on BTTS and then a bit on btts and Solihull to win. They're going to be number one on the slip most weeks I think. Just give us a shout if their team isn't up to full scratch any time haha,

Genuinely fancy Southampton to finish in the top 7. They've bounced back even stronger than last year and the top sides are all faltering bar Chelsea/Man City.

In terms of the title race... well there just isn't one barring a shock turn in the tides for Chelsea. They're the best team in the league by an absolute mile at the minute.

I still feel sorry for Lambert. Money aside, he clearly still loves to play football and to play for Liverpool (I think he's a scouser?) is a dream for most players.

To be out of the side to accomodate a plonker like Balotelli must be quite demoralising I suspect. Having seen 'super Mario' yesterday, I'd be knocking on Mr Rodger's office door...

Good shout really. He cannot be any worse than Balotelli.

'Super' Mario has overtaken Hulk as the most over-rated player on earth for me.

So funny watching Zenit, their tactic is basically, get the ball and pass it to Hulk... Hulk shoots, over or wide. Repeat.

I read an article the other day that said Zenit were doing well and Hulk was playing well.

I don't think there's that many overrated players around now, the only people that overrate players have barely seen them play.

Southampton must be pissing themselves.

At selling Lovren for £20 million, that is about it, Lallana has settled in now and looks a brilliant footballer and Lambert cost Liverpool £4 million..

Lovren has been terrible business and I don't know if Liverpool can turn him into a good Premier League player, I really fear for him. Lallana on the other hand? £25 million is always going to be a question mark but for what he brings to Liverpool then I am happy enough with the amount spent on him.

Early rumous are that Balotelli will be dropped for the Madrid game and Liverpool will be setting up a bit like Barcelona in their style of a 4-3-3, Gerrard deep lying and Sterling in a false 9 role.

Coutinho has to start!

Posted

think liverpool will get something from the madrid game. no bale. madrid are basically through already and will beat liverpool in the bernabeu to finish top of the group and it's the clasico at the weekend. much more important to them.

Posted

Very true..

Amazingly Liverpool are above Man United, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton after 8 games.

Man United have a right tough 4 games coming up as well.

Can't believe Arsenal have only won 2 games this season!! They have got away with it big time this season from the media and co..

Posted

yeah i was amazed we've won the same amount of games as arsenal, harder games too haha. very tight really from city down. chelsea will walk the league, aguero will keep city competitive for a bit but as soon as he gets injured again they'll finish a distant second but still ahead of the pack. who that pack will be headed by is absolutely anyone's guess!

when's sturridge back? more and more obvious he's essential as a player and for the system every game you play imo.
