MK Dons v Leicester City

Lessons learnt tonight, King and Hammond are nowhere good enough for the Premiership. I'm not having this Hammond works hard bollocks because it won't cut it in the big league's. King doesn't offer anything in the midfield anymore. He's gone so backwards and I don't think he good enough for a team fighting to win the championship. Play offs at best.

Chris Wood is truly utter shite, this man offers nothing at all. He just seems to moan and lose the ball. Hamer is very shakey and is awful at crosses.

James Pearson was solid and looks a good prospect. He's a good solid defender, who puts himself about and goes in strong. Can see him going out on loan.

All in all boring game, no atmosphere but the seats were the best seats I've ever sat in at a football ground. Their ground is very impressive and it's funny because the old cliché about " Your grounds to big for you". They will never fill that ground ever.

Can anybody describe the Pearson goal please because Stringer says it's the goal of our pre season but doesn't give any detail at all

typical "you´re missing nothing"  "Strings"

So Daz93,says Kingy was everywhere and had a big influence on the game....Hugo Sanchez says Kingy has gone backwards and didn't offer anything....I'm confused.

King and Hammond did ok last night but against such mediocre opposition it's hard to judge them really!.. Hammond does look slow and against the likes of the BIG 6 in the premiership I'm afraid he (and all on show last night) will be woefully caught out!.. Let's face it, we're in for a dog fight of a season.... If Kasper gets injured then Hamer looks a million miles away from playing in the PL, if he's nervous in these preseason friendlies then f**k knows what he'll be like at the Etihad or Old Trafford!!!!!!.. Scary thought!. Think NP may have got this one very wrong?..

Bit harsh on King and Hammond. They weren't that bad.

As for boring game and no atmosphere. It's a pre-season friendly . What do you expect? And best seats? The Emirates has the best seats - thought you would know that?

I was surprised by how good a ground it was though.

Don't agree with Chris Wood being shit at all, I thought he looked determined last night, some of you forget he is still a kid in footballing terms, I like him. As for Hamer he looks a little nervy, possibly due to that fumble against Ilkeston, but he is a good goalkeeper.

I'm encouraged, we seem to be able to retain possession better than we were, and that any one player can slot into a system. It's a sign of good coaching and organisation.

There are a dozen clubs in the Premier League that will be woefully caught out, actually some of the top clubs can come up way short on any given day, Spurs a couple times last season springs to mind!

At least this game has lowered your expectations, our season will be judged on the number of points against the dozen teams in the same boat as us, any points off the big teams is a bonus.

To add weight to my point, stoke haven't picked up single point at the places like the Etihad and Old Trafford in the last five seasons and easily survived.

So when I go to Manchester twice this season, meet up with a few mates from my time living up there before and after the games, I do so knowing that our current squad will come away with nothing and if they do get something it will be one of the highlights of the season.

If however we go to places like Turfmoor and Britannia and get beat by 2 or 3 goals then you can say our squad is woefully short on being able to cut it in the PL.

I can never understand why fans read too much into what happens in pre-season games.

Looks to me like Wood has already accepted he will either hardly feature, or go somewhere else for loan or perm. I'm not sure what is wrong with him, but it isn't encouraging.

I think that loan to Wolves would be a pretty good move.

I always find myself wanting to defend Wood but I agree with you. Even last season when we were running away with the league, his body language was negative pretty much throughout.

How would I know the Emirates have the best seats ? Leicester have never played there before. What was you doing there ? My Chemical Romance concert ?

Haha is music the only retort you have? How long before you mention Oasis?

Don't you support Arsenal too? I've been there to watch football.

Why would I go to watch football when Leicester aren't playing? I've been Highbury before to watch Leicester play before. So what are you doing going to watch Arsenal ?

In London, Leicester aren't playing and I wanted to watch football and it was cheap. The other time was as a guest in an exec box vs Liverpool. Problem?

Good one trying to catch me out.

*awaits ribbing about seeing My Chemical Romance despite never listening to them any more...needs new material*.

Fair play, not something I would do. Wouldn't feel right but each to their own.

Really? You wouldn't watch football as a neutral?

Someone I know got tickets to Arsenal v Aston Villa through work and it was a great game (lovely seats), surrounded by Gooners and Villa won 2-0!

I went to watch burton albion and England before and hated it. Didn't feel right. Going to Leicester games you're feeling the emotions all the way through.

Well I'm a football fan as well as a Leicester fan so I tend to enjoy watching any football match I go to. Each to their own.
