Went to watch Lincoln vs Bristol Rovers yesterday . Rovers were 2-0 up after 20 minutes , Lincoln pulled it back to 2-2 at half time. Rovers missed an 88th minute penalty , then scored a 90th minute winner. Good match

Boro's opponents on Tuesday, lol in 2008 Bristol Rovers were playing away to Leicester, that same year Boro were away to Rothwell Town.... six years later Boro travel away to Bristol Rovers, unbelievable isn't it. Rovers have had a bit of a slow start in the conference.

Lowestoft at home in the next round of the FA Cup, 2 divisions above us in the Conference North. We beat Solihull last year after they "rested" a few against us, so should Lowestoft make the same mistake I fancy us to give them a good run.

Would love us to make the 4th qualifying round as the date falls on my birthday. It'd be a massive day out on the lash!

Hey wouldn't mind boro facing Coalville in the 4th qualifying round, winnable plus a short trip.  Boro new manager unveiled today former Birmingham defender Liam Daish as been appointed.

Boston back on track with a home league win at weekend.

They never seem to do well in cup though. Would love them to get to 1st round proper

Talking of Boston I heard there was rumours they were getting a new stadium, is that still on the cards?

Yeah supposed to be. Not really kept up to date with it but keep hearing 'quadrant' mentioned I think.

Might have a check on when its built for and capacity

I'll be heading over to Ilkeston this Saturday to cheer on the super Solihull in the FA Cup.

My friends brother plays for Ilkeston Che Adams. Just been called up to the England C team and a few scouts from league clubs have been watching him.

Let us know how he gets on please mate.

Lincoln drew 3-3 with lowly Southport , despite being 2-0 up after 17 minutes. Had another player sent off too. On a terrible run of form .

"FC United becomes first football club to be a Living Wage employer

FC United of Manchester has been accredited by The Living Wage Foundation as a Living Wage employer, the first ever football club at any level to have signed up to the scheme.

The Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at FC United, regardless of whether they are permanent employees or third-party contractors and suppliers, receive a minimum hourly wage of £7.65, which is significantly higher than the national minimum wage of £6.50.

The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually and calculated according to the basic cost of living using the ‘Minimum Income Standard’ for the UK. Decisions about what to include in this standard are set by the public; it is a social consensus about what people need to make ends meet.

Commenting on the club’s decision to become a Living Wage employer, FC United company secretary Lindsey Howard said: “FC United is happy not only to be Living Wage providers but also to raise awareness of this scheme. It is an important extension of our values and ethos as a community social enterprise.

"We also know that many people struggle to make ends meet on minimum wage. The living wage, and other policies that address the issue of low-paid workers, can make employees feel less like commodities as well as being part of a positive step in the fight against poverty.”

Employers choose to pay the Living Wage on a voluntary basis. The Living Wage enjoys cross party support, with public backing from the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.

Living Wage Foundation director, Rhys Moore said: “We are delighted to accredit FC United of Manchester as a Living Wage employer. They join more than 900 accredited businesses and organisations from high street brands such as Nationwide and Nestle through to independent companies ranging from printers to care providers and pubs.

"Unfortunately, despite calls from many supporters’ groups and season ticket holders, no Premiership football club has been accredited as a Living Wage employer. We welcome the leadership FC United Manchester is showing and hope other clubs, including some of the big name, big money teams, follow their stance and reward a hard day’s work with a fair day’s pay.”

Off to Solihull v Chorley tomorrow.

Good 3-1 win v Chorley who were second in the League going into this game, Chorley went 1-0 up in the first 10, could of made it 2-0 before 15 minutes had gone and then it was the Solihull show. Great performance.

Got chatting to a Chorley 'fan' who told me he isn't a fan of them, just follows them when his Blackburn side are playing away.. Well anyway, he has visited 511 football grounds across the UK and only came to Solihull so he could tick the ground off. Really nice man and made a cold wet day a bit more enjoyable before the game started.

Coalville have snapped up the Loughborough manager after letting Jimmy Gray go following another heavy defeat. Considering we've been in and around the top 2 the last 2 seasons to have a run of results

5-0 L

5-1 L

1-0 W

2-1 L

4-1 L

4-1 L

Is a bit hard to take. Hopefully the new fella can get us competing again and get us firmly back in the top half and hopefully into the top 5 play off spots.

Tommy Brookbanks?

Good manager, if it wasn't for dickhead chairmen in the last three seasons I am pretty sure he would of taken Quorn up and Loughborough this season as well.

Wonder if he will try and bring in a few of the Dynamo lads.

That's the one, looks like he's been shafted by a few chairmen in his time. Stamford let him go after agreeing a budget and lining up five players to bring in for the new season.

He'll be given decent support and time by the chairman and people at Coalville anyway so hopefully he can work his magic.

My mate signed for Coalville last Thursday played on Saturday for them manager sacked Saturday night and then re-signed for his old club on Sunday lol

Haha, we seem to have gone on a splurge of signing players a level or two below us, I hope that's more down to the contacts Jimmy Gray had opposed to the budget available for players. He's probably best away, it's miserable at the minute.

Great 2-1 win for Solihull away at Boston!

Gloucester away tomorrow night and then at home to Hyde on Saturday.

The Moors are flying.

Posted

Poor point away to Gloucester last night, in a game that Solihull controlled and should of put the game to bed..

Put the Moors third in the League, with 4th and 5th having tricky away games and Solihull at home to bottom of the League Hyde.

The wheels are off! A mate of mine finally got on the bandwagon last night and he has less luck then Dan with his bets, so it wasn't a surprise to me lol.

Should be an absolute tonking on Saturday shouldn't it?

Coalville lost 4 players to injury last night, 1 pre match and 3 during the game. That's 1/4 squad gone and more importantly our 2 first choice center backs. Performances much improved under Brooksbank, unfortunately the results haven't followed as of yet.

Haha, if you would kindly tell your mate to piss off lol

Yeah, it should be, I hope so anyway, especially when I can see Chorley and Oxford both slipping up.

Up the Moors! 3-0 at home to Hyde and my mate there scored 2.

On the flip side, Coalville notched up their 8th defeat in 9 games and are struggling to name 11 senior players due to our insane injury list at the minute haha.
