Vicki Vixen Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Fylde is ridiculous. Basically just a vanity project for a businessman who wants to outdo Andy Pilley at Fleetwood. Even with the way Blackpool are going there's no chance of them every having a big enough fanbase to be sustainable. Half the people in the towns and villages they're trying to attract support from are already Blackpool and the other half are already Preston. If there was ever a disillusioned fan base to recruit from, Blackpool would be right up there. Some serious hatred among Seasiders for their club these days. A real shame as I remember them in the 90s being some of the best fans in the lower leagues, very vocal and always travelling in big numbers. I've not read much about Fylde. Will have a look this evening. They seem like an interesting story.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Gutted i will miss the Boston playoff semis and final Clash with Chelsea Newcastle and Southampton games
Leicesterpool Posted 26 April 2015 Author Posted 26 April 2015 How are Hinckley getting on having heard much about them for a while?
Lesta2014 Posted 27 April 2015 Posted 27 April 2015 Loughborough dynamo reserves play coalville town reserves tomorrow in midland football league challenge trophy final. 7:45 Owen street coalville if anyone fancies watching a game.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 Eastleigh made the Conference play-offs at the weekend, two promotions in two years is still on - SPITFIRESSSSS
CosbehFox Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 Absolutely ridiculous that, having won the FA Trophy, North Ferriby are releasing all their players and looking to take a voluntary demotion of two levels of the pyramid....Means we'll probably be welcoming them to Coalville next season.. Same dodgepot family as Hull's owners and lots of accusations being thrown about up there! Also, with reference to the Evo Stik South, sad to see that Norton United have folded, just months after reaching the FA Cup 1st Round! Norton is ground problems sadly. Hinckley are going to finish 4th at step 10. The division they are in is a bottleneck as the next level, the two promotion spots are shared.
isaidno Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 As a Lincoln fan I want to Grimsby to avoid promotion and Boston to be promoted. 7,000 fans there for the Grimsby match and the club need the money from the local derbies.
The People's Hero Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Maidstone United up as champions. Will play conference south next year. Massive drama with the play offs. Just about every club involved kicking off. Latest decision is Enfield docked 3 points after season finished. Met police now in play offs. Play offs delayed. All players semi pro and have holidays etc booked. Enfield and met police still paying players to train despite neither knowing if they'll end up in play offs.
CosbehFox Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 At least Flyde ain't going up to the Conference. Darlington got promoted yesterday. That puts them into the Northern Premier.
purpleronnie Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 FC Utd of Manchester had a test event for their new stadium today. Next up Benfica.
ScouseFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Rovers rovers roverssss rovers rovers rooooversss roverrrrrrs
ScouseFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I want Bristol Rovers to win Same same. Bad start. Mad that we needed two injury time Matty Fryatt goals to struggle past Bristol Rovers just 6 seasons ago. And just 5 years ago they beat Southampton at St Mary's in league one. The difference between us now!
bovril Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Rovers keeper having a mare. Entertaining game though. Great commitment and surprisingly good quality so far.
ScouseFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 frantic start that's for sure. gas could be a few goals down and down to ten men too, 0-1 is probably quite good for them atm all things considered!
ScouseFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 yeaaaahhhh na na na na nanana na na naa ellis harrison harrison elllissss harrison awful defending
Tuna Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Disappointed for Grimsby, just goes to show how bloody tough it is to get out of that division. Shit penalty what was he thinking? Took Cambridge and York 10 years to get back. Bristol deserved it though after narrowly missing out on the title.
Fox in the North Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Should be a good league again next year though!
