Simmo86 Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Turned it off with 4 and a half remaining in the 4th! What a fecking turd
Finnegan Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Turned it off with 4 and a half remaining in the 4th! What a fecking turd I was very tempted to go bed at the same point.
Finnegan Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Tadman currently on suicide watch Bless him, he went very quiet on here! Probably doesn't help that everyone else was loving the comeback. Sorry, Tadders.
syston_fox Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Think last night comes second only to THAT Watford game in how low I've felt after a sporting defeat. To blow it in that way was unbelievable. Never felt confident throughout but even I started to believe when we were two scores ahead with five minutes remaining and us in possession. No one to blame but ourselves. Only thing that cheered me up was the photos of the Seahawks fans who left early stuck outside and not being allowed back in.

Jordan Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Bostock will get the flak, but Clinton Dix not making a play on the 2pt conversion and conservative play calling (no rushing pressure on Wilson on 3rd and 19, and not giving an elite QB in Rodgers a chance to throw the football on 2 successive 3 and outs in the 4th quarter..You can even add the Packers not taking full advantage of their early dominance and Wilson's interceptions by scoring TDs instead of settling for early FGs on that list. It seemed like Green Bay was a little too conservative in many aspects yesterday. Long story short, Seattle had no business winning that game.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/31015960 I love this guy so much.
Guest MattP Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 I can imagine how he feels, these media days must be a right pain in the arse for players. On a side note on 'deflategate' - How many times can the Pats get caught cheating and still manage to get away with it?
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Don't think they'll get away with it, looks like they'll get fined and be docked draft picks isn't it? Kicking them out the super bowl would be a bit ott given nobody seems to think under inflated balls would make thirty / forty odd points worth of difference.
bovril Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/31015960 I love this guy so much. He comes across as a spoilt brat. It's part of the (well-paid) job, make an effort you lazy twat.

Money or draft picks mean nothing to them though, Belichick's scouting network is so good he can often wait for the 6th/7th round for his first picks anyway, that's the way he's always done it. They are a franchise who appear to have no problem cheating to win and it's something that shouldn't be tolerated,
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 But it shouldn't be part of the job. It's a farce, being fined because you don't want to talk to journos? Ridiculous. The man does a lot of charity work for under privileged kids without waving it around for the media and praise.

Finnegan Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Fans had paid for tickets to be at the press conference though and ask questions...... That's the league's fault, not Lynch's. Besides, any Seahawks fan is going to know better than to expect Lynch to answer questions in public because he's chronically media shy.
bovril Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 The whole 'no one likes us we don't care' attitude of the Seahwaks is a bit tiresome. I can't remember a Superbowl recently with two such annoying teams.
Fox in the North Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 The whole 'no one likes us we don't care' attitude of the Seahwaks is a bit tiresome. I can't remember a Superbowl recently with two such annoying teams. If it's what helps them be successful why should they care? Love lynch as he does his talking and walking on the pitch. Though because I play as a DB I still have plenty of time to appreciate the L.O.B. As a jets fan I hope the Seahawks batter the pats with the same mercy as last years super bowl.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 "As a Jets fan." The most depressing words in football?
bovril Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 "As a Jets fan." The most depressing words in football? "And now... Bruno Mars" from last year's Superbowl come close.
Fox in the North Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 "As a Jets fan." The most depressing words in football? At least it's entertainingly bad and not just depressing like the Jaguars or the Titans.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 These are good stats. Since the merger in 70, teams that have ranked top in scoring defense are 13-3 in the super bowl and have won seven of the last eight. Oof.
Itsthejoeker Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 At least it's entertainingly bad and not just depressing like the Jaguars or the Titans. Hey leave the Titans out of this!
Fox in the North Posted 28 January 2015 Posted 28 January 2015 Hey leave the Titans out of this! Tough they're in it now!
