Fox in the North Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Lindley is hopeless Or he played as you'd expect from a young 4th string qb. The panthers just had to press the right button when they had to.
BigNige Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Or he played as you'd expect from a young 4th string qb. The panthers just had to press the right button when they had to. True, but the panthers gave him a lot of chances in that game
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Come on Cowboys, this is going to be close!
Fox in the North Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Some filthy decisions from the refs in this game too!
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Jerry Jones paid a lot for these officials.
General Smuts Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Demarcus Lawrence just saved his contract there.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Disgusting officiating but How 'bout them Cowboys!
General Smuts Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Disgusting officiating but How 'bout them Cowboys! This is pretty apt about now. Cowboys robbed here.
Fox in the North Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 This is pretty apt about now. Cowboys robbed here. The cheque to the refs must have bounced. Personally I thought ball bounced before he had full control.
bovril Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Correct call but unlucky for Bryant, what an effort.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 This is pretty apt about now. Cowboys robbed here. Swings and roundabouts eh? Who says allowing video replays will make standard of officiating better?
buzzy Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 The cheque to the refs must have bounced. Personally I thought ball bounced before he had full control. just a shame that the refs did not pick up cobbs in 1st half when ball hit the ground first. makes our refs in this country in football look ****ing good. what a joke

You can train someone to be the best refin the world but I feel there just comes a point where human error is inevitable and therefore subjectivity appears on each individual call/foul/play in any sport. Basically we need robots.
Fox in the North Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 So it's Packers @ Seahawks and Colts @ Patriots. That's two very interesting games!
dsr-burnley Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 This is pretty apt about now. Cowboys robbed here. If you make a diving catch, and when you land the ball hits the ground and causes you to drop it, then it's not a catch. No robbery, just a near miss.
Guest MattP Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Correct ruling on the catch. Shit rule though. You can't catch a ball like that without hitting the ground.
syston_fox Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Thing is if he had crossed the line would it have counted as TD? Not that I'm complaining ... Go Pack Go!

No robbery, just a near miss. Of course I will be biased as a cowboys fan but I don't think it was a diving catch. He took 3 steps before falling to the ground and the ball was dislodged as he stretched for the TD. Subjective though which is why the big debate about video replays is bollocks, doesn't always get the right call after a replay.
Fox in the North Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Thing is if he had crossed the line would it have counted as TD? Not that I'm complaining ... Go Pack Go! Yep as it would have crossed the line before he hit the ground. He would have still been in control, even though he was mid air. I think?
syston_fox Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Yep as it would have crossed the line before he hit the ground. He would have still been in control, even though he was mid air. I think? And if he'd fallen sideways and gone out of bounds then I think it would have counted as a catch too... Crazy rule but I was loving it on Sunday!!!!
Fox in the North Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 And if he'd fallen sideways and gone out of bounds then I think it would have counted as a catch too... Crazy rule but I was loving it on Sunday!!!! I bet you were! You were so lucky on that play though. No luck for me as I seem to enjoy supporting teams that do their best to mess things up, the Jets.

The way I see it though, even if they had made that play, Rodgers had an age to lead us on a march down the field and I would have backed him to secure the win at home.

True, guess we'll never know though. The championship game should be a cracker. I'm just watching the College Championship game, pretty decent stuff.
Chilwell_Fox Posted 14 January 2015 Posted 14 January 2015 If Pats win the Superbowl I think its time for Brady to retire
