One Legged Beaver Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Should headbutt Van Gaal in my opinion. Try and knock some structure into that face.
veezeeblue Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 ok after seeing the Manu game Schluppy will need to take out Di Maria, Rooney, Blind and Mata in the pre game hand shakes
TonyN11 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Which player do you think Jeffrey with target today for an accidental head clash?
Facecloth Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 He's on the bench, so he might wander over a land one on Van Gaal.
Larry_LCFC Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Schlupp concerns me a little. He has incredible pace and gets himself into some fantastic ongoal positions. But he looks like he panics in the final 3rd and 9/10 fluffs it or makes the wrong decision. He doesn't seem to have that killer finishing instinct like Vardy. Hes had a few so far this season he really should have slotted. Im frustrated for him.

EGBFitness Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 He looks like a player with little confidence in final quarter.
Stadt Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 SK1 one was on his hit list today, he even missed them.
benpicko Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Needed to pass twice today rather than shoot
Larry_LCFC Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 give the lad a break, he is still very young.. nige will school him..#fact I hope so, I like him. Probably one of our most versatile and potentially exciting players but he needs to start making right decisions (both assisting and scoring) if he wants Nigel to keep playing him.The competition for places is immense now.
Spiritwalker Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 We could have had 2 more goals today(I know I'm being greedy) if Jeff had slipped a simple pass at the right time.
dmayne7 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I'm glad he was more selfish in the final 3rd. That's what stopped him from being in the team as a striker. The frightening thing with Jeff is that he's still only 21 and has played nearly 100 games in 3 very different positions yet is in his national team (a decent one) and is an important member of a Premier League squad. That versatility and determination speaks volumes for the mental side of his game. Think how good he could be in 3 years if he settles down in a position and even then he'll only be 24. I actually forget just how young he is. If he can gain a bit of composure and cut out some of his errors then he could be a special player, and that could be in one of 3 positions. Dream player to have in a squad.

Decision making though Jeffrey.. Get that right and you'll be an exceptional player.

He's the only player in our squad that is versatile and can play in three different positions. Granted he's not the best we have in any of those positions but he is a great player to have on the bench for that reason alone. And as others has mentioned, he is still so young that he's got plenty of time to learn.
