You don't expect your captain to be so stupid. I understand what he was trying to do but what he actually did baffles the fook out of me. From where I was sitting I knew straight away it was a red, having watched the replay on TV it's baffling me even more to what he was playing at.

Anyway, we have a very good replacement in Mata, so not overly bothered.

Many do. Mata has been dropped to accommodate Rooney. LVG has said recently that he doesn't like Rooney playing as a striker and thinks his best role is just behind the forwards, obviously that spells trouble for Mata.

Personally, I really rate Mata, his link up play is breathtaking at times, he can score the odd goal as well. Mata now has three games to prove his worth, I hope he takes it.
